tominator89 Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 You guys are gonna laugh at me for this one, but...I honestly thought the XFL had a chance to succeed when it was first announced.
Guest Vitamin X Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 Hey, so did I. I kinda liked it, even went to an LA Xtreme game.
Carnival Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 Ya I figured that it at least couldn't be lamer than Arena Football. I mean that shit is all over the place.
Guest Redhawk Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 Soon after the Mariners signed Ichiro from the Japanese League, the Dodgers offered the M's a trade: Gary Sheffield for Ichiro, straight-up. The M's declined, and I ripped them for it in my school newspaper column. I said Ichiro was unproven while we know Sheff is great, and that Ichiro wouldn't draw fans because he's a singles hitter, etc.
Crimson Platypus Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 You guys are gonna laugh at me for this one, but...I honestly thought the XFL had a chance to succeed when it was first announced. Dude.. I was in an XFL fantasy league.
Guest Redhawk Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 I can't even remember who was in the XFL...Tommy Maddox, John Avery, He Hate Me, Rashaan Salaam (I think)...anyone else notable?
the pinjockey Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 You guys are gonna laugh at me for this one, but...I honestly thought the XFL had a chance to succeed when it was first announced. Dude.. I was in an XFL fantasy league. On Sandbox? I was in one on there and won with the draft players I heard of method, so I ended up with Avery and Maddox.
sfaJack Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 ...anyone else notable? Shante Carver, brilliant former #1 pick by the Dallas Cowboys.
