.bin file question

Recommended Posts

I recently dowloaded a torrent file, supposedly of a film, and what I've got from it is a .bin file. As far as I can tell it's some sort of executable file, a type of archive I would assume, but I have no fucking clue how to extract from it or what program to use. I'm on Windows XP, any help would be greatly appreciated

That's what we call an image file.

To view its content get a Program like WinISO or WinRAR.

However, I recommend you use Daemon Tools, create a virtual drive and mount the .cue file that should've come with it.

Ok, I downloaded Daemon Tools, created the virtual drive and mounted the .cue file, and it opens a window, browsing the files of the virtual drive I created. It contains a couple folders, and I've isolated the movie file (judging by the size), which is a .dat file, but I'm still unable to play it.

Am I doing something wrong, or just missing the next step?
