The Knicks should take a look at Memphis. They should try trading for Gasol, and take on Jason Williams' and Cardinal's contracts to balance it out. We'd then finally have some backup PG, to go along with Gasol.

I highly doubt Jason Williams would be cool with backing up anyone.

May 11 rumors:

Kansas City high schooler Brandon Rush, kid brother of Kareem Rush (Bobcats) and JaRon Rush (UCLA bust), is entering the NBA draft but hasn't hired an agent. Kareem is gonna pay for all of his expenses, like travelling to workouts and camps.

Kentucky freshman center Randolph Morris is entering the draft but not hiring an agent. Kentucky freshman PG Rajon Rondo is also thinking about the draft, but will probably come back to school.

LSU forward Brandon Bass is leaning toward entering the draft.

Martellus Bennett, a high schooler who has signed to play basketball and football at Texas A&M, is considering the NBA draft.

Memphis SF Sean Banks is leaving school and going into the draft.

Auburn PG Tony Douglas is going to test the draft process but will go back to school if he's not a 1st round pick.

High schooler Monta Ellis, who had signed to play at Miss. State, has signed with an agent, so he's in the draft for good.

Wake Forest big man Eric Williams hasn't gotten a positive response from NBA draft people, so he's likely going back to school.

The New Jersey Nets are very interested in Channing Frye, Wayne Simien, Ike Diogu, Hakim Warrick, Sean May, Chris Taft and some European guys.

Flip Saunders spoke to the Cavs about their coaching position.
