Enigma 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2005 Raw drew a 4.1 rating last night with a wrestling-heavy show. -- Meltzer
Guest Fook_Theta Report post Posted May 4, 2005 4.1 is not up in any significant way. The 5.0 pop was up, 4.1 is not. Damn you.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2005 I bet the Chris Masters segment lost alot of viewers.
CBright7831 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2005 That was the only segment where Boston should have stayed quiet, which isn't to hard for them.
justcoz 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2005 Boston really sucked last night. No reaction during much of SHelton vs. HBK. No chants at Lita. Weak chants at Edge. No significant pop for Christian. Would they have even marked out for the Duke of Dorchester Pete Doherty? Or the Boston Brawler?
Guest Rrrsh Report post Posted May 4, 2005 Are u mad because Boston are marks and wernt chanting smark chants? Give your head a shake, the fans were great for the big two matches and were REAL loud for the near falls.
justcoz 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2005 They were also chanting boring during Edge and Jericho. They gave Benjamin no reaction at all and were sitting on their hands during most of Benjamin-HBK. And yes, I'm mad that they weren't engaged in smark chants, they have just as much tradition in that market at MSG, it should be the same type of audience. New York didn't let me down. The U.K. didn't let me down. I would have expected Omaha or some place to let me down. Not Boston.
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2005 It was the best RAW in ages. I sure hope it went up.
Dobbs 3K 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2005 The crowd sucked for the most part. Those boring chants during Edge vs Jericho were inexcusable.

Altho they are in the Northeast, Bost has always been way more mark heavy than New York. And your dreaming if you think they wernt loud during the Benjerman match
Jericho2000Mark 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2005 They only chanted boring when Edge was on offense(which I agree with, Edge and his offense is boring), and chanted "Y2J" whenever Jericho was on offense.
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted May 4, 2005 Last nights crowd was pretty bad, mainly for the lame excuse of chants. It was like a bunch of handicap people in the crowd last night. Whenever a small group of people tried chanting something, everyone was off with the others, making it sounds like someone speaking over a PA system at a baseball park. "Batting second-econd, #fortyorty-three-three, Blah-Blah-lah, Blah-Blah-lah-lah..." Despite the shitty crowd, Raw was pretty good for the most part.
Caliban 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2005 Ahhhh... Boston. They were shitty for WM XIV as well, if you recall.
cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2005 One fun thing I recall about WM 14 though were these goofs in the crowd with a big sign saying "The Icon: Rob Van Dam." I remember thinking it was odd since RVD hadn't quite yet won the TV title and gone on to big things in ECW at that point.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2005 I really cant remember a RAW where there were 3 really good matches like we got this time.
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted May 5, 2005 The "Beat The Clock" Raw I remember being pretty good, but I'm not sure on actual match quality. Other than that... I can't think of anything since the WWE name change.
