What are the best first person shooters games out right now? It can even be for the ps2 or xbox. If it is for the xbox it has to have xbox live.

Pariah's pretty awesome, and Call Of Cthulhu looks like it could be fucking insane.

If you want a mulitplayer shooter get Unreal Championship 2 for XBOX. It's awesome. The single player is not great though. Time Splitters Future Perfect (both systems) is great if you don't want your games too serious.

Pariah looks great, I agree. And get Chronicles of Riddick if you haven't already (though I don't think it has multiplayer)

Pariah certainly isn't better than Unreal in multiplayer, but for a solo experience it's probably the next best thing to you-know-what at the moment.

If we're talking online, I've had more fun than I really should have with Republic Commando…

Right now I'm playing TimeSplitters: Future Perfect and I think it breathed some fresh life into a stale genre. So many get boring halfway through the game, but this one finds ways to keep you involved. Not to mention it's the deepest FPS out there, as far as arcade mode is concerned.

Judging from my Xbox Live friends list, I was under the impression that you already had every FPS (and sports game) for the system.

I guess I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

Serious Sam.

I like that one, even though the one I have/thinking of is an old PS2 game that's about 10 bucks now new.

And nobody's ever online to play it...if they even have servers up for it still.
