I have found that I have alot of lucid dreams, when I wake up in the middle of the night, especially the early morning, and go back to sleep. Sometimes I fall right asleep and immediately into a dream.

 

I used to have a lot of dreams where I can't talk for some reason. and lately have had some dreams where I could hardly move my jaw and it was in huge pain. weird.

 

Hell I once dreamed I was online, posting here at TSM.

I one time dreamed I was watching a game between the Titans and the Ravens. Sounds pretty normal... except the football was a Pikachu. He was getting kicked, tossed, and knocked around all over the place. He even Thundershocked Ray Lewis! I woke up thinking WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!

I once had a dream where I could fly whenver I held onto this paper airplane I made. I flew over to a park where all my friends were at and starting waving to them. Then, I got hit by a plane and I fell to the ground.

Last night I was dreaming that I was in a tower by an ocean, UFO's appeared overhead, I tried to take a picture but I fell asleep. Next thing i know I'm in the ocean swimming, trying to keep the camera dry, I swim to a pier where John Candy in his Summer Rental movie poster garb is playing cards with 3 unidentified people. I crawl out of the water and walk to a pumphouse nearby. When I open the door Dudley Moore (!?!?) was having sex with a naked blond hottie. At this point i woke up and peed.

One method to achieve lucid dreaming is simply to stare at your hand in the dream and ignore the background imagery. If you can stay focused on your hand thru the chaos you should be able to achieve lucidity. This often works for me. My strangest dream involves having a conversation with Yog-Sototh, H.P. Lovecrafts legendary Eater of Souls from the Necronomican.

In my collgee Intro To Pysch class we had a binder with all sorts of cool handouts. One was a coouple of pages about Lucid Dreaming and mentioned a trick to avoid waking up after acheiving the lucid state. It said to spin around in your dream body. I have tried this and it often does work.
