Media Play, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Circuit City, and even the mighty Amazon.com are out of or no longer sell this movie. Did I miss something? The same thing happened with Casino but luckily it was because it was being released on a special edition in June or July. I've heard rumors of a Phantasm remake, so I thought maybe this was the cause. I guess I could probably find it on ebay but I felt the need to say something, it just seems so weird that it would just vanish from every major media store in my area like that. Don't worry on that one, a special edition is FINALLY on the way later this year 08/02/05, thank God. As for Phantasm, yeah it's OOP. I don't think there is a new version of it coming out anytime soon for R1. I know that Anchor Bay is putting together a big Phantasm box set of the entire series though, but only for R2.
