alfdogg 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2005 Chris Webber is a little whiny bitch, no surprise there.
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2005 Maybe the J.O.B. will come back to Boston, and can replace Doc once Doc proves that he's still a 2nd rate coach.

nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2005 Evidently not enough ... Ainge hasn't figured it out yet. The Pacers series was a great example of a team with (arguably) better players losing because their coach got schooled.
smh810 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2005 I cant agree with you on this one nl5. I think Doc can be a top-flite coach if Antoine and Paul stay together next year (I know thats a big if). Plus, had Grant Hill's ankle healed properly I could've easily see Orlando winning 50 in a couple of those years. The Celtics werent that good of a team and were too green (no pun intended), young teams 9 times out of 10 get schooled by an older team in the NBA playoffs talent or no talent. Ripper 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2005 Oh Fuck Jim Obrien. He did a pissy poor job as a coach this year with his inconsistant rotation. His lack of consistant playing time for Dalenbart, Green and Jackson was embarassing. The team could have been alot better with a better coach.
C Dubya 04 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2005 I'm already sick of people saying that O'Brien was fired because of Webber or Iverson whining. He was an AWFUL coach. Terrible. If the Sixers had had a competent coach, they would have taken the 3 spot from Boston. O'Brien's ineffectiveness and stuborness cost the Sixers a lot of player development as well. I was thrilled yesterday driving home to hear O'Brien was out and Cheeks was in.
Guest news_gimmick Report post Posted May 24, 2005 Plus if I remember correctly, the Sixers have wanted Cheeks to be their coach for a long time, and now that he's finally free from the prison that is Portland I can see that letting go of O'Brien was that much easier to do. I think the positive vibes that Cheeks can bring will be a step in the right direction for the Sixers next season.
Carnival 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2005 Doc would be a better coach if his players listened to him or respected him. Paul, Antoine, and Ricky don't give a shit about Doc. They just do what they wanna do. I seen one game where the Celtics got to shoot Technical Foul shots. Doc wanted Ricky to shoot em...Paul just walks up to the line...Doc is yelling "PAUL...PAUL" the whole time...Paul looks at him, no sells it...and shoots the shots anyways. The only real veteran that listens to him is The French(LaFrentz)
