The E3 demo was good enough for me, someone who was indifferent to Sonic, to want to own the game, and Rush (along with other titles) made the DS my #1 most wanted system. The dual screen gameplay was flawlessly executed, and the game was just plain fun. I've actually decided to play through my old Sonic games while waiting for Rush. That pretty much limits it to Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast) and Sonic 2 (Genesis) since I can't find my Game Gear, but there are emulators for all the Genesis games, and I could always pick up the Sonic Mega Collection Plus fon Xbox for $20.
