Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2005 This is where everybody laughs at me. My manhood feels small and crushed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Everyone in this thread except me seems to have gone to great lengths to make CAWs of real wrestlers, so we can be small and crushed together. Once on No Mercy (don't remember who I was against; this was all years ago), someone got up as my CAW (who was myself) was going for a Phoenix Splash to finish him off, as it was my aerial finisher. Dude gets up right before I launch myself, and I only made him do that "stagger backwards and look like you just got a head rush" sell. He grabbed me, hit his finisher, and it was over. I want to say it was Austin, but I'm not sure.
Guest Real F'n Show Report post Posted October 10, 2005 Played with my Cliff Young CAW (another e-wrestler I use), and I gave him a powerbomb (I think Powerbomb 6 or 7, I'm not sure, but it's a running release powerbomb). Cliff Young vs. Eddie Guerrero in Season Mode. Eddie's back is to the ropes, toe kick, power grapple, the powerbomb. I'm expecting it to be like every other powerbomb where the animation just has Cliff magically placed back near the center of the ring as Eddie crashes to the mat. Uh-uh. Eddie goes OVER THE TOP ROPE and lands on the outside. I paused the game, went "holy shit," and then Eddie got back into the ring. Tried it again, thinking maybe it's just a glitch. EDDIE IS POWERBOMBED OVER THE TOP ROPE AGAIN! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I LOVE that powerbomb. Fond memories of doing it off the Cell, and also through the glass windows in the game that had the huge backstage area.
Guest clockworkraven Report post Posted October 12, 2005 Any chance of that bomb being able to reach across the distance between announcer tables? EDIT: Just got finished with an Elimination Chamber, my power CAW & D-Von, Scotty, Rey, Chavo and Scotty. Came in sixth, got three out of five eliminations. Tajiri got D-Von. Down to me and Tajiri. Beating the shit out of him (three chokeslams onto the cage, a few powerbomb 07s, my entire Signature+Power movesets twice), powerbomb him back into the ring. Hit a Super Tiger Suplex or whatever it is, climb up top and come down with a leg drop. Drag him over to the corner, hit a running powerbomb from right next to the turnbuckle, so he's laid out diagonally the middle of the ring (only his head + body are in red, my head's in red from two Buzzsaw kicks earlier on). Climb up top of a chamber, go for the diving headbutt... miss completely, bounce around, so now the rest of my body's in yellow. Tajiri gets up, gets on the turnbuckle, hits an elbow drop (on my back, because I'm lying stomach down) and gets the win. Man I hate missing big spots. DangerousDamon 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2005 DoR2 Triple Threat with London, Guerrero, and Benoit. Eddie was in the middle of the Three Amigos combo. As soon as he hit Benoit with the last suplex, I hit Eddie with the London Calling and win. It was so awesome because it was just like the finish to the Revenge of the Prophecy 4 way. Guest adamsummers Report post Posted October 13, 2005 I was playing SvR the other night and had two pretty cool spots... - I was my CAW Hodge, facing Rock (legend) in a Hell in a Cell match. first spot came once we left the ring and went over towards the announce tables. (it was the smackdown arena) i picked rock up and hit JBL's fall away slam and rock went flying onto one of the announce tables, causing it to shatter apart. this was awesome to me cause I had no idea you could break the table by standing on the arena floor and tossing a guy onto it. it looked perfectly planed. - the last spot came at the conclusion of the match, like 15 minutes after the first spot happened. we're on the top of the cell, he goes for the Rock Bottom, but i reverse it and nail my Last Call finisher (Undertaker's Last Ride), but our position on the top of the cell was perfect so when i powerbombed him, Rock went flying off the cell and right to the arena floor. i climbed down and got the 3... awesome ending in my view. i've done it before where i hit that move on the top of the cell but they usually land on the edge and roll off... but this time, reversing Rock's finisher into mine and send him off perfectly just looked sweet. wish i had that on tape somehow. Guest Real F'n Show Report post Posted October 13, 2005 Any chance of that bomb being able to reach across the distance between announcer tables? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nope, and even if it did, I doubt the table would break. Would still look cool as hell, but sadly it's too far away...

Even if you do the bomb from right next to the table (standing on the floor), it doesn't break. Something about the way the move's done, I guess.
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2005 That's a pretty lame thing about HCTP and SvR: that the tables don't usually break when you slam somebody through them. I've tried so many times to position a table in the ring and superplex somebody through it, but the table just moves.

I miss the ring bell from No Mercy; it made Pedigrees worthwhile.
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2005 Haha, niiiiiice. I was in a 15-man battle royale at Survivor Series with my Cliff Young CAW, and it's the angle where Stacy says she'll manage you if you win. I eliminated 12 people. I was the 3rd person in the match. EVERY ELIMINATION I MADE CAME FROM THE RUNNING RELEASE POWERBOMB. It was sick seeing Cliff pick Shawn Michaels up and drop him on his head on the outside...and then do the same to Ric Flair, Batista, and Kane.
