Is there a way to find out someone's IP

Recommended Posts

There's a guy who threatened to shoot me, but I don't know his last name. I'm not scared of the fucker, but I do hate his guts. Is there any way I can find out his IP address through the "friend" request he sent on MySpace? I know he has a warrant out, and if I could locate him, I could land his ass in jail. Normally, I wouldn't help out the police, but this fuck deserves it.

Usually you can look at the ip on those type of sites if they leave comments on an entry of yours. I don't know if that's how MySpace works though.

I dunno, get him to post at an Invision Forum you made yourself, then get his IP from there. You might have to work with Hosted-Forums to build your board, though, and we don't like them because they will check in on it a very day and all that shit, and oh fuck it who cares

If you already know the guy, why do you need his IP?

Just pack heat and waste his ass first.

Stop being a faggot and go confront the guy. You want to waste the state's time and resources on a Harrassment By Communication/Terrorist Threat investigation, followed by charges which you'll probably drop? He's probably a friend of yours with whom you had a falling out, so just go "talk it out" and hug.
