JULY 6 | As part of its 10-year anniversary celebration, Amazon.com and UPS will surprise a handful of customers with DVDs and other special deliveries by top stars.

 

Harrison Ford is expected to deliver the Raiders of the Lost Ark DVD and Jason Alexander will deliver the Seinfeld DVD to randomly selected customers.

 

New deliveries will be made daily July 7-16 with footage streamed on the Amazon.com Web site. Celebrities who make the deliveries also will get a boutique on Amazon.com that includes the product they delivered and additional items chosen by them.

 

On July 16, Amazon.com will stream a concert celebrating its anniversary with performances by Bob Dylan and Nora Jones and bonus materials from The Lord of the Rings movies.

 

As I said on another board, it's a shame Bob Hoskins isn't in on this as I recently purchased The Vistas Series version of Who Framed Roger Rabbit on DVD. That would be awesome.
