Guest shaqaustin34 Report post Posted July 12, 2005 I was just checking out the summer league, and I was checking out certain players like Darko, who scored 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 fouls in his first summer leagu games. Summer League is kind of good to check out players who never get any minutes and see if the have any potential. Also Luke Jackson of Cleveland wasn't that bad he scored 11 and 6 assist. Gert T 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2005 I'm interested to see how Artest looks, although against this competition he should dominate.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2005 To give you somewhat of an idea of how summer league play translates into actual success in the league, Nikoloz Tskitishvili was the MVP in the Denver summer league last season.

Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2005 Frye is scoring fairly well but his rebounding and defense has been weak thus far. I'm starting to think the best case scenario for him is as a high energy reserve ala. Tyson Chandler. Sweetney, JYD and Mo Taylor will be more productive starters at the 4, even though one will likely be moved, and we should be adding a starter caliber center at some point. Nate Robinson is playing great, I'm starting to get excited about his prospects, I think he's going to be a super sub this year. David Lee is getting hustle numbers. He probably won't be a factor this year, but I can see him developing into a contributor down the road.
