Guest Ransome Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 If Hunter wants his legacy in the business to be for something other than his political games, which have often been to the detriment of the business, he might realise that taking an extended break is an option to consider. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree. HHH can spend the time making more movies, or whatever. A year is a long time in wrestling, but I believe he would come back seeming extremely fresh if he did so. The test as to whether or not this will work will be observing the fan reaction of Brock Lesnar when (if?) he returns; if Triple H sees fans reacting positively to Brock's return after 18 months away from wrestling, and the several high-profile feuds that are sure to follow for Lesnar, then Triple H might be more open to sacrificing his own spot for a year and coming back rejuvenated also.
BHK Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 Replace HHH with Hogan and all of the statements above and it's the same. What's the difference? Higan made money?
Anakin Flair Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 Trips is to overexposed. I'm glad he took a break from TV. Does anybody think that, perhaps, HHH is finally learning that he doesn't need to win constantly to retain his heat? That he can win once, loose three timnes, and still be as over as he was before?
