Guest Flyboy Posted May 25, 2002 Report Posted May 25, 2002 If you argue that RVD is just a spot wrestler, or that Edge is far better suited to the "WWE style" of rasslin', or even that Edge is better at promo's(though that's debatable), that's fine. But there is just no way that you can say that Edge is more over than RVD without having people go "what in the world did he just say?" Its understandable. Edge is on Smackdown, where the WWF tends to pump in crowd noise after the fact. To the untrained, Edge could very well appear to be more over than RVD. Oh c'mon... who REALLY would believe Edge is more over than RVD? Really... do you? Sure, Smackdown gets edited, but still... When was the last time you heard fans screaming in unison "EDGE" at the top of their lungs? Let me think... this may be awhile. Well, let me think when was the last time I heard fans scream "RVD" in unison for the last time... ummm.. Raw! Hell, on Celebrity Boxing because he was there, too! Point proven?

HHH was getting decent sized face pops before Mania...but his matches were met with a quiet crowd. Edge gets good enterance pops...and his matches have some heat too. (unless hes clashing styles with Regal...good god was that bad) RVD gets an enterance pop that is probably smaller than Edges...but his matches are among the hottest in the WWE. Somewhere behind Austin and Rock...not bad company.
