The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2005 I had NHL '95 growing up, it was my only sports game until Madden '02, hence, my sentimental fave. Blackhawks were quite good. Chris Chelios, Steve Smith, Joe Murphy, Jeremy Roenick, Michel Goulet, Tony Amonte, Ed Belfour.
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2005 Where would those downloads be available? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry, I have no idea about the PS2 downloads. I'll ask on the GameFAQs NHL 2K6 board now and post here when I receive an answer. Anyway, I finally got the game last night. I went to the Riverside, CA, Best Buy and didn't see it on the shelf. I asked a girl working there about the game, and she spouted off some crap about how "someone else bought the license and they aren't making 2K games anymore." She was still very nice (and pretty attractive) so I explained the whole EA/2K deal to her and said that NHL 2K6 was indeed released. I then saw a copy of the PS2 version and showed it to her. She asked a guy there about the Xbox version. He was like, "Yeah, we have plenty, but we can't sell them til Thursday." But she winked at me and was like, "You've gone through enough trouble and you've been extremely nice, so I'll grab you one from the back." So now that I have a copy, and I'm going to officially join the Cheap Ass Gamer league and probably play a game before work. If anyone wants to get in a agme on Xbox Live, my Gamertag is MattYoung. Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2005 Thank you, sir. Tell us how it plays, too; I'm very interested in that $20 pricetag.

Matt Young 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2005 I've played 3 games so far, and I love it. Well worth the $20, and that's coming from someone who knows jack shit about hockey. The only negative was when I tried playing online, the lag was unbearable, and I know my connection was fine because Halo 2 and Madden ran smoothly. Now I'm 0-1 after the drop, though.
