I don't remeber what he was implicated for, wheither it was flat out doing it or just "interested in learning more about steroids" And yes they were briefly teammates during Canseco's final run in Oakland in the 1997 season as Tejada was a late season callup that year

 

So there is allready implications with Tejada long before Ratty "fingered him"

Actually, the chapter on Tejada claims as a young player coming over from the Dominican looking for success, Canseco claimed he talked to him about steroid usage but has also said that he doesn't know if Tejada ever used steroids. So essentially the story was mostly conjecture.
