Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2005 We cut backstage, and the fan reaction from the arena can be heard in the distance, as the cheers are heavy once the sight of Leon Rodez appears on the Angletron out in the arena (but to you, the TV viewer, he's right there on your screen). The co-holder of the OAOAST World Tag Team Championship is unpacking his gear from his back, when all of a sudden the presence of someone else in the room is felt by Rodez. He looks up, then smirks, and the cameras cut over to Zack Malibu, standing tall. Much like Rodez, a loud pop is heard in the background. RODEZ What's up man? MALIBU What's up! The two shake hands and do the "manly embrace". MALIBU Look, you and I, we're the World Tag Team Champions now. RODEZ Yeah. MALIBU Nobody expected that to happen. RODEZ Which makes it all the more sweeter. MALIBU I agree, it was a major coup for us, and it's helped sway things back in our favor after it looked like Drek Stone had the whole roster brainwashed. RODEZ Not to worry, bro. If any two men were made to be fighting champs, it's Leon Rodez and "THE" Zack Malibu. MALIBU Heh, I like that. But look, it's not the Upstarts, or the challengers that I'm worried about right now. I'm worried about us, as a team. See, the one advantage that other teams have over us is that they're TEAMS. One theme song, high impact double team offense, matching tights, the whole shebang. RODEZ She bangs? You want us to get Ricky Martin as our valet? MALIBU What? No! RODEZ Oh Zack, c'mon, that William Hung fad is so two years a... MALIBU LEON! RODEZ WHAT? MALIBU Nothing. Look, I figure you and I, if we're going to hold this gold and represent this company as champions, we're going to have to start acting like a team. A cohesive unit. You said you'd do anything to show that you were firmly behind this company and the Originals, right? RODEZ Right. MALIBU Then you can start by wearing these? Malibu reveals what he's holding. A pair of tights much like his usual attire, except they're gold with blue trim, the opposite of his colors, and the name "Rodez" on the back. RODEZ Awwww Zacky, how'd you ever know my size? MALIBU Will you just take them already!? RODEZ Hey, seriously man, thanks. I appreciate it. MALIBU Not a problem. Malibu ducks out of the room, leaving Rodez to look at his tights.
