Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted September 23, 2005 Brief Smackdown thoughts because I only watched some of the show. Booker vs Christian was a fun little match. For a guy who's suppossed to be getting buried they sure had Christian booked strongly here as he kicked out of the bookend and only went down because of Sharmell's interference. Speaking of which, I enjoyed Sharmell's preformance tonight and thought that she looks more natural acting than others on the roster. They're still building to a Booker/Benoit match. Booker wasn't happy with Sharmell's cheating although he didn't really outright say so or give much indication of it which I liked. Sharmell later on convinces Booker to try to get a title shot against Benoit. Booker is really hesitant to do so but is convinced afterwards. Kind of weird because the Benoit/Booker friendship hasn't ever been protrayed this strongly on TV but I guess it is apparantly. I am digging Booker being completely on the good side though. It's good to see someone with their morals intact. Ken Kennedy has improved his ring introduction. If anyone marks out for the MSG lowering of the microphone from the ceiling (and really who doesn't) than make sure to watch Smackdown this Friday. Kennedy vs Mysterio was a somewhat short counterfest with neither guy really gaining control. Okay match with some interesting counters. I wouldn't be surprised if Kenneddy takes the US belt away from Benoit someday. The WWE loves the guy. The Orton vs Undertaker casket segment was pretty good just for the fact alone that the camera showed the Undertaker was no madequin in the casket and it was only a matter of time before Orton got his just deserts. The Benoit vs Orlando match at least had a story to it but it was hard to watch since you know there's no point to this. Well, no good points anyway. The nurse with Eddie Guerrero was hotter than hot. Worth watching Smackdown just to see her. I didn't watch anything else Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
