NFL Week 4- Sept. 26-0ct.2

Recommended Posts

Nah.  Brady's averaging something like 280 yards and Dillon has 5 TDs.  It's the defense that isn't quite up to snuff yet and the injuries don't help (on both sides of the ball).  Today was due to the D not stopping SD and causing turnovers coupled with the O-line not giving Brady time or Dillon holes to run through.  He did have a few big runs, but the Pats had to throw more because they were in a lot of 3rd and long situations.

You getting the feeling Joe Andruzzi was a bigger loss than we thought?

The offensive line couldn't open up running holes with Light and they damn sure aren't doing it without him.

I don't know about you guys, but I am PUMPED for the EPIC SHOWDOWN between the 49ers and Cardinals tonight, a showdown so big they had to put it in Mexico City because Tempe couldn't handle it!

The game is so hot the NFL decided to broadcast it on ESPN Deportes HD instead of regular tv.

Barring major injuries, is there any way the Colts don't get homefield this year?

Didn't they have Homefield already?

Here's what will happen, NE somehow beats Manning and the Colts again in the regular season but really close and dramtic...

Patriots will limp into the playoffs as the AFC East Champions, whilst the colts get HF...

Patriots manage to lose in the WC game and Indy runs the table and makes the Superbowl.

However, Manning still has to face the "you didn't beat Tom Brady" stigma during the superbowl hype and they'll throw "Tom Brady has 3 rings. you have none. you can't win the big one" talk for the whole time...finally SB comes and Manning, predictably chokes as always.

Well the Ravens avoided going 0-3.

The good news is they play Detroit next week, so its possible they can string 2 wins together vs crappy teams..in fact, then they play Chicago and Cleveland to round out the month before playing the Steelers on Halloween MNF.

You honestly think they'll beat Chicago?

Damn, my picks were wrong left and right, I picked NE over SD, SEA over WA, STL over NYG (very bad pick)... well I guess that isn't too bad, but I certainly lost in my office pool.

It might be an ugly game, but yeah.

The Cowboys have got to stop having all of their games come down to the last 2 minutes. My poor heart will not be able to take a full season of this roller coaster shit...

Horrible playcalling at the end of the game by Sean Payton, btw. The short out to Glenn isn't so bad, but he's GOT to run that pattern into the endzone; even if he'd caught that ball, the Raiders still would have won because he wouldn't have scored or gotten the first.

That said, I am stoked for the Eagle game next week. Maybe Roy will say hello to TO's ankle again...

Maybe Roy should work on his pass coverage skills instead...
