Angle-plex 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2005 Ok, I have a new phone after having a crappy one for three years. Unfortunetly I lost time and have no clue about phones or phone technology. I have a mp3 on my computer I'd like to use as my ringtone. How would one go about getting this accomplished?
the max 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2005 Depends on your service. For instance, I have to download them via web on my cell in order to get the ringtone.
Angle-plex 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2005 I have verizon. I have the mp3 on my computer, and I know that my friend had to go to some website to convert it to a ringtone and they sent it via text message, but I'm clueless as to how to go about doing that. Fökai 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 Use the model number of your phone (like I have a Motorola V265, Verizon service), then use a forum like Mobiledia or just google a FAQ on how to convert your own ringtones. For instance, here's a guide someone did for my phone.
Sandman9000 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 On your harddrive? http://mobile17.smashsworld.com/ You just need to have a phone that can connect to the intarweb. I can vouch for this service, since I've used it half a dozen times or so.
