Bored 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 I was going to post it this morning but ESPN still hasn't finalized it's Saturday schedule. I'll edit this post with the complete schedule when they finally make up their minds although I'm guessing they'll give Michigan/Northwestern the 7:45/4:45 slot over South Carolina/Tennessee. Celtic Guardian 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2005 Time and network switches on two games and a postponement on another one according to the Miami Herald: North Carolina at Miami has been moved to noon EDT on ESPN2. Light towers were damaged at the Orange Bowl making night play impossible there. Clemson at Georgia Tech was traded to the 3:30 p.m. EDT slot on ESPN in exchange. Middle Tennessee State at Florida International has been postponed.. probably until early December according to other updates.
Bored 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2005 Tommy Tuberville goes off on BCS and ESPN... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "And most of their analysts are coaches who haven't won any games. That's why they're there. I think you know who I'm talking about. "And Lou Holtz gets on there and talks about what a team has to do win that game, and the guy couldn't beat anybody in our conference. Oh snap. Damaramu 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2005 Will this guy ever stop with his tirades? I think it was pathetic to see the Auburn player last night on MNF introduce himself from the "2005 National Champion Auburn Tigers." These guys will never let it go. I mean I'm all for ESPN bashing but Tuberville needs to quit.
Urban Warfare 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2005 I wish USC had played Auburn, so we could end this shit. Auburn would have lost to USC by three touchdowns.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2005 I think Auburn or another SEC school would pose more of a challenge than Texas. They would probably slow down USC's offense considerably. Texas... well... we'll see in January.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2005 You do realize that everyone Texas has played has had their lowest offensive output of the season? So their defense isn't a pushover.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2005 Yes everyone Texas has played has been great shakes as far as offense goes. And no sorry, I don't count Texas Tech. Though honestly, I've started to lose my hostility for Texas. I realized I have no reason to hate them. If they do well and goes to the Rose Bowl, then kudos to them. If they don't, then they don't. Perhaps I fear Texas internally. I dunno.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2005 Yeah because you do have no reason to hate them. Maybe because you don't want USC to have to face them? I still maintain that Texas at the end of last year was better than OU at the end of last year and would've had a better game in the Orange Bowl than OU. Guest Report post Posted October 27, 2005 I want USC to face them and kick their ass so that you can shut the fuck up.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 I want USC to face them and kick their ass so that you can shut the fuck up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why? Because I've defended them? The USC fans are acting worse in regards to Texas than the people supporting Texas(i don't think there are any actual Texas fans on this board). Besides on top of that if USC were to dominate the rest of the season and win a third straight national title it doesn' tmean I won't shut up about disliking them and hating the way ESPN blows them. Guest Report post Posted October 27, 2005 The only thing that I'll say is that you are a big fucking hypocrite.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 The only thing that I'll say is that you are a big fucking hypocrite. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah well kiss my ass. You wouldn't have a problem at all if I was rampantly supporting USC. I have another reason for hating USC aside from the ESPN blowjobs. They're from LA. I hate LA and everything that exits that shithole. So me supporting Texas because I actually think they're a good team and I think they deserve a shot at the national title is wrong but Porter hating Texas for really no reason except that they've been close to USC all year and then refusing to give them credit for any accomplishment is fine? Guest Report post Posted October 27, 2005 Yeah well kiss my ass. You wouldn't have a problem at all if I was rampantly supporting USC. Actually, I probably would. You can't seem to shut up, and I think that your kind of blind love would cause me to hate USC fans just as I hate other Laker fans. I hate bandwagon fans, no matter where they come from. So me supporting Texas because I actually think they're a good team and I think they deserve a shot at the national title is wrong but Porter hating Texas for really no reason except that they've been close to USC all year and then refusing to give them credit for any accomplishment is fine? Texas has beaten an overrated Ohio State team in Columbus and they have beaten an overrated Texas Tech team in Austin. They haven't done that much, just as Virginia Tech and Georgia haven't done that much.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 Just so you're aware, Dama, I assume the reason he called you a hypocrite, or at least TO ME, is because you didn't seem to mind the ESPN treatment when it came to OU. Now it's on USC and you're hatin'. Though to your credit, you'd not be the first to do that.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 Well you don't ever have to worry about me jumping on the bandwagon of anything that steps out of the state of California. I would not shed a tear if that state sank into the ocean.

Damaramu 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 Is it because Oklahoma doesn't get the spotlight that we do? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If getting the spotlight means that my state will be filled with assholes then hell no I don't want it. And yeah USC gets a lot of spotlight right now but OU's a Top 5 All-Time college football programs(as is USC before you get your panties in a wad) so I could care less how much spotlight we get. We've gotten plenty over the years.
