Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 From Dave Meltzer TNA did a 0.9, its best number to date. It reads like a minor increase, but viewers per home skyrocketed Saturday night as did the key demos
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 Here is the entire blurb from Meltz... Both UFC and TNA had good ratings news. UFC did a 1.4 last night which is the best it's done since losing the Raw lead-in. TNA did a 0.9, its best number to date. It reads like a minor increase, but viewers per home skyrocketed Saturday night as did the key demos. UF also did huge last night in the key demos, actually beating what WWE did in Male 18-34 last week. Viva TNA and UFC I say!
Downhome 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 Has the rating went up every single week so far? I'm loving this.
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 I think it stayed the same for weeks 2 and 3, but it's good it went up for the show right before the ppv. Baby steps. They need to think baby steps and they need to think "what would WWE NOT do in such and such situation". As RRR pointed out, TNA isn't in WWE's league right now, so they need to not worry about them and put thier focus and energy on the next show and especially the prime time special, since that has potential for more viewers than their ppv's. RedJed 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 According to the Observer, the third show did take a very small dip down (basically just in the key demos they are looking for) but this number from last Sat most definately made up for it. Curious what the replay number was for Impact from last night, since it was still promoting BFG without seemingly doing any alterations on the content. TNA needs to be allowed to do an alternate second Impact broadcast to at least follow the ppv shows the day after, even if it's just having it be a "Best of" show or something.
