Guest Coffey Report post Posted October 30, 2005 I don't like Dutt either. To be honest, Strong hasn't impressed me too much in ROH, so whatever he gets done in TNA will be fine by me. Shelley has. So has Aries. So, naturally, I get upset whenever they lose. I don't see why Sonjay couldn't have taken the fall in the match other than the fact that he was the teammate of AJ whom seems to be TNA's posterboy.

Guest Coffey Report post Posted October 30, 2005 I still don't get why Dutt went over @ BFG. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I was baffled. When I read whom was in the match, he was one of the people that I dismissed winning, almost immediately. Silly me. TNA listened with the Daniels collar thing. Maybe they'll listen if we ask to have Konnan stop throwing his shoes?

Joe hitting someone with shoes looks bad ass...Konnan throwing the shoes is just comical.

After that tour, TNA has decided to push Dutt starting by going 10 minutes with Daniels during AJ's 15 minute challenge. It was really a no-brainer to me at least who'd win the BFG 4-way. Yup, I like Dutt.
Guest Coffey Report post Posted October 30, 2005 It makes things more unique with things. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> More unique how? Because he might miss and hit a fan in the front row in the head? It's silly and then he has to go get his shoe back!

He did it again in May in a classic comedy match against Ebessan, Delirious and Evans. He changed it up by using the shoe as a weapon against Low Ki and Homicide a few months later in Chicago. Guest *KNK* Report post Posted October 30, 2005 tonight's show felt kind of flat. It had the usual solid X match, but it really didn't feel like a post-ppv show. I understand they saved the good stuff for the primetime show, this felt like filler.
Coolclint 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2005 Just to throw it out there, Riley was getting beatdown by...I want to say Abyss, and Raven (feuding with Abyss at the time) came out to save him. Riley saw it as Raven being his savior. After he did it the second time (again by mere coincidence, I think it was Abyss again or Rhino), Riley adopted the Raven "look". At first, Raven didn't mention his existance at all, but I suppose they changed that now.

Jebus 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2005 About Riley's obsession with Raven: I found this and, keep in mind, Raven had saved Riley from an Abyss post-match beatdown a week earlier (Raven didn't really save him as he was simply attacking Abyss whom he was feuding with...Cassidy just happened to be there) "Backstage, Terry Taylor is with Cassidy Riley. Taylor informs us that Riley has something that he wants to say. Riley says he wants to say thank-you to a man he owes a lot of gratitude to. That man is Raven. He thanks Raven for saving him when he was in the ring with Abyss. Taylor informs Riley that Raven only looks out for himself. Taylor mentions that Raven is the same guy that broke Riley's fingers, what kind of gratitude should he owe him? Riley says he didn't do that to him, he did that for him to introduce Riley to the pain. Riley says he wants Raven to know if he needs his help anytime, he will be there for him. He once again thanks Raven." (P.S. he broke his fingers on Heat years ago and tried duplicating it in TNA too) After that Riley started dressing like Raven and tried to help him even though Raven didn't want it. Riley even almost cost him his title in the process due to his interference backfiring. Starting with delivering the message that he would be at Bound For Glory, I guess Raven has accepted to use Riley as his lackey.

LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2005 I loved this show last night. The wrestling was great, even the stuff that could've been bad (like 3LK vs. AMW...god bless Ron Killings, he's amazing). Also, Alex Shelley is God. 9/10 in my opinion. Great show. Guest GoJoe Report post Posted October 30, 2005 Definitely the best iMPACT! of the Spike era thus far. Great promo (Team 3D), great squash (Daniels/Clarke) and probably their best match yet with the X Division tag. I also loved the history promo for the NWA title and the apology for Ultimate X. Two classy moves from TNA.
Guest SavageRulz Report post Posted October 30, 2005 They should have had Rhino defend the belt at least once before losing it to Jarrett because then Jarrett is going to use the old, "It was a fluke" line.
