PWG's "All Star Weekend 2" Takes Place Nov. 18 & 19!

By Silverback, PWG Staff Writer

Harmony Acres, CA – Sequels are a part of the grand tradition of American culture, and being great Americans, the staff of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com) has decided to embrace this aspect of Americana. Some may discount this patriotic gesture is nothing more than PWG trying to overwhelm the American public's fragile state of mind in this topsy-turvy, post-Hurricane Wilma world, but those people would be unpatriotic, and their points not worthy of discussion. PWG Commissioner Dino Winwood wants to assure all fans, American, and those of lesser, non-American nations, that this gesture is from the heart, and not a measure taken to distract observers from some impending scandal in the Winwood administration. Some fans may be asking if this is really from the heart, why isn't admission to "All Star Weekend 2: Electric Boogaloo," taking place on Friday, November 18 at 8:00PM, and Saturday, November 19 at 7:00PM at the Hollywood Los-Feliz JCC, free? Because we're not stupid, and capitalism is as American as apple pie and sequels.

While this Electric Boogaloo may not feature Ozone or Turbo, Commissioner Winwood has constructed a time machine, at great personal expense mind you, to look into the future, and has sent word back in time that tickets are $20 per night, or only $30 for both nights, and that "All Star Weekend 2: Electric Boogaloo - Night 1" will feature:

PWG Championship Match

Kevin Steen © vs. Samoa Joe

"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles vs. Jimmy Yang

PWG Tag Team Championship Match

Super Dragon & Davey Richards © vs. Gunning For Hookers (Hook Bomberry & Top Gun Talwar)

"Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels vs. "The Future" Frankie Kazarian

"American Dragon" Bryan Danielson vs. "Wonderkid" Jonny Storm

Chris Bosh, Scott Lost, & Joey Ryan vs. Quicksilver, Scorpio Sky, & Dino Winwood

Chris Sabin vs. Petey Williams

Jack Evans vs. El Generico

Disco Machine & Excalibur vs. TJ Perkins & Rocky Romero

Unfortunately, after Dino returned to the present, his flux capacitor was on the fritz, and was unable to see Night 2 of ASW2! While the good Commissioner works on repairing his time machine, he has stated that all title defenses will be determined by the results of Night 1, but "All Star Weekend 2: Electric Boogaloo - Night 2" will feature:

Chris Bosh vs. Kevin Steen

Jonny Storm vs. Jimmy Yang

Hardkore Kidd & Petey Williams vs. Frankie Kazarian & Chris Sabin

Scott Lost vs. Scorpio Sky

Super Dragon & Davey Richards vs. Disco Machine & Excalibur

Jack Evans vs. Joey Ryan

2 Skinny Black Guys (El Generico & Human Tornado) vs. Gunning For Hookers (Hook Bomberry & Top Gun Talwar)

TJ Perkins vs. Quicksilver

Also for those fans looking to catch up on the latest PWG DVD releases will be pleased to find out that both October events, "After School Special" and "Straight To DVD" are available for pre-order at www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com! Each event is only $14.95 (plus $3.95 Shipping & Handling) and is stuffed to the gills with the awesome awesomeness you've come to expect from PWG. Both titles are expected to ship on November 21, 2005. Both shows, as well as the "Battle of Los Angeles 2005" 2-disc set, plus many other PWG DVD's will be available for purchase at both nights of "All Star Weekend 2: Electric Boogaloo!"

Are you a PWG completist, yet your DVD library is missing a few key PWG events? Well fear not, because in the coming weeks, we will be restocking our earlier events that up until now have been sold out, and very hard to come by! An announcement will be made when the DVD's go on sale, we just want people to stop offering us their first born children, because really, we've got too many mouths to feed as it is, and we may have to cut a few interns loose if people keep pirating and bootlegging our DVD's!

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's "All Star Weekend 2: Electric Boogaloo - Night 1" takes place at the Hollywood-Los Feliz JCC on Friday, November 18, 2005 at 8:00PM. Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's "All Star Weekend 2: Electric Boogaloo - Night 2" takes place at the Hollywood-Los Feliz JCC on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at 7:00PM. The Hollywood-Los Feliz JCC is located at 1110 Bates Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90029. Tickets are $20 per night, or only $30 for both nights, and will be available at the door. I'd hope so, because Night 2 really doesn't have anything on it I could honestly see may paying for (outside of Jimmy Yang/Jonny Storm while probably still isn't enough to warrant a purchase).

Night 1 on the other hand has 5 matches I'd really like to see and nothing that I can think of I'd like to miss.

It's an odd weekend for sure.

Actually as a PWG follower, I'm looking forward to both shows almost equally (can't say I'm too hyped for Frankie/Sabin Vs. Petey/HKK though. Way too random)

Night 2 is more of a storyline show, Steen/Bosh, Sky/Lost, SD Vs. SBS have been building for a while now. PWG's feud blow offs have always been something to see. I guess you'd kinda have to have been following the stories for them to really mean something to you.

Sky Vs. Lost in particular is one to look out for....

I try to follow it, but over here in the UK, it's strangly hard to get a hold of PWG. So my entire PWG knowledge comes from the All star weekend, all nude revue and stuff I've seen of the people else where.

And going for that, I just can't see any appeal in guys like Bosh and Lost (I thought those two were pretty dull to be honest), while a lot of the others just don't sway me at all.

That being said, the first All Star Weekend was probably one of the best shows of the year for me. so who knows!
