Guest JMA Report post Posted November 4, 2005 I've been having problems with trying to play a video file with Windows Media Player. I have Windows XP and the latest Windows Media Player. When I play the file I get a message saying "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem and needs to shut down." I know nothing is wrong with the file itself so I must be missing something. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
