teke184 Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 I don't think the Cotton Bowl would take Colorado over OU. OU would fill the Cotton Bowl with fans. Colorado fans don't travel well. They were severely outnumbered by the OU fans at the Big XII title game last year. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dama... Take into account that Colorado was about 7-4 last year while OU was 11-0 and heading for the Orange Bowl. Think that would explain the makeup of fans at the game?
Bored Posted November 12, 2005 Author Report Posted November 12, 2005 If Colorado finishes a clear 2nd in the conference they'll go the Cotton Bowl. They'd need to beat Iowa State tonight, Texas Tech to beat Oklahoma next week, and then beat Nebraska in two weeks. If Colorado loses either game before the Big XII title game, then the winner of Texas Tech/Oklahoma would go to the Cotton Bowl.
teke184 Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 The LSU D-line has 5 sacks today. YES~! Brodie needs to aim for the center one of the 3 receivers he's seeing after all those head-shots he's taken.
Guest Leelee Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 It should be noted that the University at Buffalo won a football game today. Their first road MAC win in forever, probably.
teke184 Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 The Rice Owls also beat Tulane to snap the longest active losing streak in I-A football. Reminds me of that old cheer at LSU-Rice games... "What comes out of a Chinaman's ass? Rice! Rice! Rice!"
teke184 Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 Bennie Brazell, LSU's all-star sprinter (and stone-handed Wide Receiver), just picked up a HUGE first down for LSU!
teke184 Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 $h!t!!!! Chris Jackson went wide left on a 47 yard FG... Alabama ball on their 40, still tied 10-10.
Damaramu Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 Well it looks as if neither USC or Texas was tested today.
CanadianChris Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 How is Alabama undefeated with an offense this bad?
Gert T Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 Thank you FSU, Texas Tech & Wisconsin, the executives' kids at BetUS are gonna have a nice Christmas.
Damaramu Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 I would just like to say that as much as I hate Texas A&M their fans travelled really well and they were respectful and nice. Though I had one obnoxious one in my section. But other than that they were a good bunch. So were the TCU fans at the beginning of the year. KSU fans(especially ones that post on TSM) sucked.
Vern Gagne Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 Why did Alabama take the ball first in OT?
teke184 Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 WOOHOO~!~!~!~!~! Bowe Knows Touchdowns! JaMarcus Russell to Dwayne Bowe for 6 in OT!
Damaramu Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 Texas vs. USC? For sure? Seems just about.
Slayer Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 Fuck, now the BCS apologists can wank off to having their precious system saved (for the time being) I'm just hoping Mack Brown eventually downs some of his classic choke juice and UT never sniffs the title game
CanadianChris Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 Why did Alabama take the ball first in OT? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They didn't. LSU won the toss and gave it to Bama.
Vern Gagne Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 I shouldn't of listened to what that old has-been Lundquist said.
Boner Kawanger Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 How is Alabama undefeated with an offense this bad? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Defense and special teams. Good game, bad ending. Oh, well. I'd rather lose an undefeated season in a tough game in OT than get blown out of the water.
therealworldschampion Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 You so know now that Mack Brown will find a way to blow one of the last games on the schedule now...
Guest Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 Texas A&M will beat them. I've said it all year and I'm not going to back down.
Slayer Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 Either A&M or the conference title game? I could see it If that happens and everyone else wins out, then what? USC-Miami?
Slayer Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 If it makes the BCS look like fools again, I'm for it
Damaramu Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 Everyone though Mack would choke the Rose Bowl. They won. Everyone thought he would choke the tOSU game. They won. Everyone thought he would still somehow lose to OU this year. They dominated. Buncha haters.
therealworldschampion Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 If you're seriously rooting for Texas as a Sooner, turn in your Sooner card now....
2GOLD Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 Yeah, you aren't allowed to cheer for Texas. It's against the fan rules. Texas is your bitter evil rival, you CANNOT cheer for them to win!
Slayer Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 ^ and ^^ I know you're rooting for them because for some reason you think them winning it all will bring respect to the Big 12... but it won't. Most people will just say "they got in by winning a weak conference"
Damaramu Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 And that's just hate. The Big XII is no worse than the Pac 10. The Pac 10 has a slight edge but it's not like leaps and bounds above the Big XII. Nothing the Big XII does will ever bring it respect. The conference could maim every non-conference opponent they play and then have EVER conference game go into multiple OTs and people would still call them weak and shitty.
