Urban Warfare Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Touchdown Fresno, it ain't over yet.
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Bush reminds me of like a Michael Vick of running backs.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 I'm impressed wih Fresno St. USC came out and took over in the 2nd half yet the Bulldogs are hanging tough. Only down 6 with 10 minutes to go.
Urban Warfare Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Oh wow, Bush makes a big mistake, fumbles, Fresno St. has it inside the USC 20. Edit: WOW. Touchdown Fresno State on the very next play.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Holy shit what a turnaround. BTW I love this commentary crew. They're quoting Shakespeare, comparing each other's dog barks, and generally acting like they're broadcasting a high school game.
Urban Warfare Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Oklahoma, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Alabama are my guesses for the trivia question.
Bored Posted November 20, 2005 Author Report Posted November 20, 2005 Wow Bush could get ejected. For a team with so many seniors USC makes a lot of stupid penalties.
Vern Gagne Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Washington back in the teens had a really long streak.
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Oklahoma, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Alabama are my guesses for the trivia question. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oklahoma's a given, but I'd squeeze in Miami in there somewhere I think. I'm guessing OU, Miami, Notre Dame, and someone else.
Urban Warfare Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Looks like whoever has the ball last will win this game, very exciting.
2GOLD Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 If USC loses, all any of the voters will remember is his fumble cost them the game. So it would be goodbye Heisman. If they win, yeah he's got it.
Bored Posted November 20, 2005 Author Report Posted November 20, 2005 I was thinking about Bush and this game's effect on the Heisman race then you look at the time and realize about 90% of the voters are asleep. And he's now over 500 all-purpose.
Vern Gagne Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Young's still got two games to win the award. Still very much in the air, who gets the Heisman.
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Regardless of what happens in this game, it looks even more promising for the Bruins' chances on Dec. 3rd. Though the final score for that one could look like an NBA game. 502 all-purpose yards for Bush!

And he's now over 500 all-purpose. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The main headline would have been "Bush fumble downs USC" His total yards would have been meaningless. Plus USC would have had a loss. Vince Young would have had it. Also...penetrated the goal line? Someone has plans for later.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Young's still got two games to win the award. Still very much in the air, who gets the Heisman. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, Young's likely to go out and throw for 400 yards and 5 TD's against the Aggie secondary. Then he'll sit out the second half.

Vern Gagne Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Texas should be ahead of USC after tonight's game. Reguardless of outcome.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Hmm. After seeing that shot of the FSU cheerleader, I'd say USC still has a big advantage in that area.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Texas should be ahead of USC after tonight's game. Reguardless of outcome. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You mean killing an unranked team then going on a bye should put you ahead of playing a competitive game with the #17th ranked Fresno State? Uhh yeah ok.
2GOLD Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Hmm. After seeing that shot of the FSU cheerleader, I'd say USC still has a big advantage in that area. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If National Titles were decided based on cheerleaders, USC would be a 10 time back to back champion. The Song Girls are smoking. They make sweaters work oh so well. And USC forces a fumble, and it might be nighty night unless USC does something really really stupid on offense.

USC recruited me for football a bit during one of their down periods (pre Carroll era) and offered me a chance to walkon. For various reasons I had to say no. Missing out on 4 years of that still makes me upset.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 FG USC, but the game isn't over yet. Still 3 minutes to go and Fresno's only down 8.
