Just posting during the show, as the main event is coming up soon. Man that's going to be big.

I'm afraid I didn't get a match in. Wasn't because I was lazy, just a simple time error (I thought the show was tommorow), and believe me, I am seriously kicking myself.

I was sensible and put a 'C' this time. Comment away!

Well Sacred, thank you for posting that. It saves me the time and effort of adding a post explaining your deep and abiding love of the Cock.

Of course Sacred isn't alone there.  No, it's well known that Munich shares a deeply spiritual love of the Cock.  Chris Raynor as well would love the Cock, but he had an excuse.  This excuse of course does not apply to Jay Dawg, who not only loves the Cock, but gobbles it down with every meal.

Bah. Stupid losing. My streak of crapness continues to grow, if anything i'm getting worse every time i write. I guess it's back to the ole drawing board.

Ash's match was better than mine, it was more of an actual match, while mine just ended up being pointless big spots all mashed together into something resembling a match. Still, i liked my match, even if just for the pointless blood and violence value.

A very good match from Lady Red and the debuting Durandal. And Annie E is back! Both Annie and Durandal are certainly headed for big things in the near future.

A very cool return promo from Chris Wilson, good to have another great writer back in the fed.

Just read the main event, and shit, one of the best matches i've ever read. A super match from start to finish. Edwin has become the champ, Thugg is at last dethroned, Xstasy back in action, and seemingly a million things going on at the end. Definately worthy of being the main event of a very good PPV.

More comments once i read the rest.

That's one rollar coaster of a show. The new guys made spectacular debuts, Wilson came back, and Edwin won the title. Hell of an effort all around, although some of the midcard matches seemed a little short for a PPV. But, Edwin's 15k opus of a main event made up for that. Good efforts all around. Particularly surprising was Ash - I though Stryke would have had your number. Well done. Oh, and MAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGG won, so it's all good.

Mkay. I need sleep, but I just need to say: THE LADDER MATCH AND THE MAIN EVENT ARE THE BEST THINGS EVER, READ THEM NOW OR DIE WITHOUT EVER TRULY LIVING. I mean, maybe I just expect JL level matches so whenever I actually read a SWF I'm just blown away, but these were two kickass matches.

*Applauds loudly*

WOOOOOO.  Go Edwin.  Great match, and Thugg went down kicking and screaming like any good champion should.  Nothing my man X, who is the shiznit of the fashizzile, but that was your big mark out moment/suprise?  You couldn't tell me that?!  Bastards!

Its good to see ELM is where he was when I left.  Pillaging small children and border patrol for their tequila and shiny, golden belts.  I didn't get through all of the match yet, but the ending is spectacular.

I'm sad I've missed all the Sacred/Fallout classics over the time, though I'm sure most of them have been dandies.  That one sure was, and another win for the Nuclear Weapon.  Fallout is awesome.

Strong debuts by the newcomers, all looking like they have some potential.  And I'm sure it won't be long before Erek Taylor and Stryke are claiming new gold.

Great show everybody, and Edwin, mad props to you sir.  Excelllllllent match.  And imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, or something to the effect of that jazz.

EDWIN!!  EDWIN MACPHISTO!!  GET THE FUCK OUT HERE!!  WHERE ARE YOU EDWIN!!

I'd like to shake your hand!  Well done good sire....well done.  I urge everyone and their mama to read that main event.  It's long, I know, but read it.  I promise you, it'll be the best match you ever read.  Edwin, I was worried that if I didn't win, the ending would get botched, but you nailed it to a "T".  I mean, wow...you got it more perfect than I did.  This is probably the only time that I'll ever be proud to have written 15,000+ words, and lose.  Ladies and gentlement, I new declare Edwin MacPhisto to be THE MAN!

The rest of the show...

I think that was Munich who won...was it Xero's match?  Well, no surprises really because I knew it was Xero all along.

Annie E's back, and it was her sister who has posing as Lady Red.  Nice one from her and the newly bumped Flesher.  Sorry, you still don't get to be called Durandal.

JD/Raynor postponed?  Bah!

ASH!!  Yeah, Ash!  Ash Ketchum, after an eternity in the JL, finally makes it to the WF, and wins the hardcore title!!  Nice work there man!

MAGS!!  ELM is back in form, beating the man who took the belt.  Nice ladder match, and dare I say, a must read.

Dammit!  I really thought Sacred would win, but alas, it was not to be.  It would have been nice if he wrote, but whatever.  Good one from Fallout, and a great lead into the greatest main event ever!

I can't congratulate Edwin enough on that match.  I feel like I did after King beat me.  Just like King, Edwin just did a plain better job telling the story than I did.  Kudos to you crowned prince...Kudos.

Wait!

I lost?  I lost??  I can't believe I lost.

*sigh*

It's ok, Edwin deserves it!

So, what did you all think about the entire angle?  I'd like to thank Edwin for such a fun month doing this angle.  I can't even begin to tell you the countless hours he and I sat on AIM and brainstormed before each show.  I mean, we'd talk for hours every single day.  I'm sure, by now, he's probably pretty tired of me.  I have to say that Edwin has been the most enjoyable person to brainstorm and run an angle with.  I urge all of you to try and run one with him before you or he leaves.  Also, let me thank Bo for not getting pissed off as Edwin and I made most of the decisions without him.  And thanks to Stubby for putting up with my shit...changing matches and cards and the like.  And to everyone else who had a hand in this angle...I really liked it...a lot.

What did everyone else think?  DId it have a good build?  Was the ending as climactic as it should have been?  Did the ending surprise you, or were you expecting it?  I'm real interested in comments on that angle.

YEEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHH EDWWWIIIIIIINNNNNN!!!

Aw man, I can't even begin with how crazy a show this was. Ash Ketchum and Xero make their appearances in the WF amidst much fanfare, Annie E is back, WILSON is back, of all people, XSTASY IS BACK!, not to mention that every match on the card looked to be an absolute gem.

*marks out crazy-like for such an awesome show*

Very rarely do I mark out during shows. However, that main event was enough to make me mark out. The complete turn on Thugg, Edwin helping him, and then X's return (even though I had an inkling that might happen) were absolutely incredible. Thugg, the angle was superbly run. Hopefully it goes somewhere from here. Bo vs. Edwin has a lot of potential, as does anything that involves X as well.

Edwin, that match was absolutely sensational. You weren't kidding when you said that it took a lot of work from you. Even though you say you do your best work in one sitting, THAT'S your best work. And if you did that in one sitting, you're even sicker than you have us believe. Congrats on getting that belt. Run with it.

And Wilson's back...this could be interesting. It's good to have another person back who could compete in the main event. Let's see what happens.

As for the other matches...ELM owns ladder matches. Erek, if you had beaten him, you would have become one of my personal gods. No shame in losing to Mag in a ladder match. Stryke, as Stubby said, you lost the Hardcore title to a guy with a Pokemon gimmick. May God have mercy on your soul. Xero got bumped, and beat Munich in a pretty good match. Annie's back, which is probably a good thing, since she's what, 1-4597287 in the WF? ;)  Anything with Fallout and Sacred rocks the party that rocks the pinata, and this was no exception. And JD and Raynor both suck for no-showing the PPV, excuses or no excuses. And if I forgot a match, it probably sucked.

MY

GODDESS.....

I'm tingling... I'm shocked..... EDWIN WON THE TITLE!

And..... my god.... I'm so confused......

I have to re read the card after work, maybe let it absorb in my brain some....

Ash? HC Champ? .... Goddess help us all... ;)

Xero comes in and nearly breaks Munich's legs.... I thought Xero was a face....

Re reading my ending... wow did I ever botch it compared to what I had in mind. I got bad news about a family member dying that night... meh, ran out of steam. Someday I'lll rewrite that ending to what I wanted just for whoever would actually care to see it. But yes, Face Annie E is back. ph33r m1 l337 n33k1d sk1llz. Yo.

..... READ THE LADDER MATCH!!!

Well a big holy dookie to this PPV. Edwin wrote a beyond brillant match, ELM wins the gold, Annie wasn't Red and now the WF has an insane ammount of chances for a kick ass LHW division... could this be the start of the best era of the WF? I hope so, but welcome back to X and Wilson. Just as Inspector Gadget would say "Wowza!"

Show highlights, from top to bottom!

Xero debuts--the match seemed a little short, but he did a good thing in putting Munich over, then giving everyone who hasn't seen him in a while a good glimpse of his brutal character.  Good luck in the big leagues, boyo!  You've been waiting for it long enough.

This Annie storyline is very interesting...slightly confusing, but very unique, and it's got me enthralled thus far.  It seems almost like...there's three women?  I'm not entirely sure, but it's good--and Angelic Annie E. is back!

That, of course, segues into the handicap match--while I hate to see a Carnie go down, great job guy and gal!  Durandal's kookamonga wordplay and cynical silliness remind me of a young Suicide King, and I marked big for the return of face Annie, even if she did use Weezer instead of Andrew W.K.  Heh heh.  Very nice job of making Rotten look big n' strong but still giving yourselves the win.

And...BLAST!  IT'S CHRIS WILSON!  As my little vignette later in the show mighta tipped you off, I knew about his return already, but I still loved reading that promo.  The master manipulator is back, in a sort of cocksure, whiny, but totally confident fashion.  Wilson works well wherever he goes, so huzzah!

And how about that hardcore match?  I think Ash just made history: unless I'm mistaken, he's the first person to ever hold both a JL and WF title belt simultaneously!  Usually I don't like all-over-the-place hardcore matches, but I loved this one, which is saying a lot.  The golf-cart chase and extended chair duel stand out as particularly cool moments.

(Sidenote: let's hear it for Gus!  He appears in the the Lady Red promo, and takes a big bump in the hardcore match!  A month ago, just a cameraman--now, an icon!

Next up is the ladder match...AND WOW!  It really felt like the two best ladder matchers in history going up against each other, and it was great!  The spots were wicked--I always go nuts for a Fame and Fury X.  Mad kudos to my fellow Carnie Magnifico on becoming the first four-time champ in the history of the fed, and additional kudos to him for being willing to play the heel in the match, but still keep his facedom at the end.  We've got a few more new light heavyweights, so hopefully more matches like this are in our future.

ICTV!  Fallout pulls out another one and becomes ICTV champ for the second time.  Been a long while since that first reign, but here's to another victory.  I really can't wait to see what these guys do with the 3/5 falls match.

And, the main event: well, I know what happens, because I wrote it!  Yowza!   I can't believe I beat both Bo and Thugg.  There's no better way to win the title.  The storyline came together perfectly at the end, and I encourage you all to read it and give some feedback on the whole thing.  I've gotta echo Thugg's sentiments--working with him was fantastic, and if you ever get the chance, jump on it like Mario to a Goomba.  What we're most proud of, I think, is how everyone involved in the angle has come out looking better-I think it leaves a lot of freedom of movement around the upper card, and I'm hoping we can keep this momentum up!

Wilson's back...X is back...Edwin's the champ!  It's a whole new era!  Or, uh, at least almost June!

Haven't read the show yet, I just wanted to assure you all that I feel like garbage about what happened with my match.

As some of you know, I moved to Utah Saturday, and I thought despite packing all week and being airborne all Saturday I'd have time to write.

I might have - I can't say, because the time I did have was funked up by nasty writers block. I hooked up with JD and we were going to co-write, but wouldn't you know it - when I finished my part, TheSmarks Boards were down. I didn't get to send it until Saturday night, and JD got it too late to finish it.

I'm really sorry. I feel like crap. Tell me I'm crap... TELL ME!

Egads! What a show, what a show!

And now, comments:

Xero debuts--Finally. Everyone's been waiting for him to

WOOOO!!! Annie is back! Could an Ash-Annie reunion possibly be on tap? Well... you'll have to see, dude. I'm still working on my WF stats, which tells you I'm psyched about all this stuff

Wilson's Meat Festival is back online! Well... at least Wislon is. ^_^

Edwin could'nt have put it better. I still can't believe I just beat Stryke. Figures. Couldn't beat him in the JL, so logically, when I get bumped, I beat him for the first time. ^_^

Gus is HARDCORE!

Man... this light heavyweight division is looking ot be better than WCW's was! I knew Taylor would do great things, but something told me ELM was gonna get his title back. I just hope I don't get stuck with another Erek vs. Ash ladder match. He always finds some way to beat me in those! ^_^;;;

Fallout is once more SWF ICTV champ, defeating Sacred. Is the Inquisition still on for this Saturday, Sacred? Man... I'm looking forward to this 3 outta 5 falls match.

And Edwin... *hug* YOU DID IT, MAN! I told ya you could pull it off. ^_^ Congrats to Edwin for a GREAT match. And Thugg... as a face? It should be interesting to see how THIS plays out...

Xstasy is back... And I get to face him on Storm. Ohhhh boy. ^_^

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go make some changes in my sig... ^_^

You're crap, Raynor!  Crap!

But at least crap that gets to make up for itself with hopefully a killer match on Storm.

Man... this light heavyweight division is looking ot be better than WCW's was!

I'm thinking I agree with that...now, all we need is some six-man tag LHW action!  Put two of my favorite things together...throw in a ladder...

ELM, Erek Taylor, and Annie Eclectic vs. Xero, Stryke, and Durandal?  My god, and that's still leaving people out.  It could happen!  Face team!  Heel team!  ECSTATIC~!

If someone has the balls (or ovaries) to set up something like that one of these days, I'll write a 50-line paean to you in fine poetic style.

Ohhh, the potential this show has produced just makes me tingle like a fiend.

PROMO (Stubby P. McWeed);

"Yup...darn good show.

I think 3 essentials of a good PPV came together here very well.

Storyline pay-offs for long running angles (Annie's losing streak, Sacred/Fallout, Magnifico/Taylor, the whole crazy main event angle).

Surprises in the form of turns, returns and debuts.

...and finally good matches.

Heck...the WWE wishes it could put on a PPV this good.

Mothernature says, no kidding..."

Edwin's match does kick ass...

Who ever said that Quality out punch Quantity are full of shit!  I wrote a good match (I think it was a good match) but it was only 8000+ because you all know about my family.  Edwin and Thugg both wrote 15000 word match, and I know it was good but since they wrote more, then they got more quality...  So Quantity is good and I think it beats Quality.  That's just my imput...  Edwin, great match though.

After reading a PPV like this I see why it takes good writers like Ash and Xero a long time to catch the bump. Umm...go Jlers. Durandal...god what a name how about I still call you Flesher. Flesher and Annie's match was superb. Also I didn't get to see Erek Taylors stuff but the one match I read was great. And Magnifico wrote a ladder match that beat his. I think that match was unbelievable. Damn Edwin wrote probably the best match possible for his title win. New angles out the ass and comebacks with WF greats. I remember looking on you board seeing everyone upset because there were alot of no-shows. Well, all I can say is everyone came back strong.

Peace
