Terrific ending to the first season tonight. It seems like Brutus is being portrayed the same way he was in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, a man that is shown as having an honorable cause for killing Caesar along with the other conspirators, who I think seem much more evil.

 

I don't know how Season 2 can top this season because I thought Ciaran Hinds carried the show as Caesar. I do hate the fact that Season 2 isn't coming out until 2007 apparently...

I liked how Caesar mentioned his dream of being torn apart by wild dogs, which is basically how his death went down. Disappointed there was no "et tu, Brute".

Well, it looks like A LOT of work goes into making the show, and IIRC, season 2 wasn't ordered until after the 1st week or 2 of this season.
