Guest Report post Posted November 21, 2005 Oregon at 7th is nice to see, but it won't mean shit unless ND loses to Stanford.

Failed Bridge 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2005 I'm a BC Eagles fan but I don't think they're better than Fresno St. Probably not better than Louisville either. I don't know if I agree with PSU being that high either. I think both LSU and Vriginia Tech are better teams. Oh, and for those that didn't know already, Brown won the Ivy League title. Just thought I'd slip that in there.

I'm not really sure that VT is that great of a team considering what happened when they played a strong defense in the Miami game.
Guest Report post Posted November 21, 2005 LSU still has 2 games to go, they'll likely move to 3rd.

Granted it was at the Big House but Michigan is not a top level team this year. To be honest I'd have Florida St. higher than Michigan too. Besides beating PSU the Wolverines beat nobody special and lost a game against Minn which they should have come out of with a win.

cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2005 Not that this matters but I wonder why U of L dropped from 18 to 20 in the new BCS? I mean Boston College is now ahead of us? WTF? Guess it was the bye week? Getting to stomp the Cuse next week won't do wonders for the BCS standings either.
Guest Rrrsh Report post Posted November 21, 2005 DAMN IT. I was hoping Oregon would slide into the Top 6. For the record, THe Ducks will get screwed AGIAN, altho they are the most deserving team to get an AT Large bid.

Leinart fumbled the ball and it went out of bounds at the 3 or 4 yard line. They still just threw him on the goalline afterwards though and then Reggie Bush pushed him into the endzone illegaly. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2005 Thus proving my point. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Until Touchdown Jesus was involved, no one even knew or cared it was against the rules. If they had called it, USC couldn't have complained but they didn't so it ends. Never has been called, never will be called and it should just be removed from the books since ND did the same thing during the game to get one of their scores. And how ND is ahead of Oregon in the human polls is more pathetic than anything. They really do not deserve to be ahead of Oregon in any way, shape or form. The fuckers went from unranked to TENTH just for beating Michigan. White sportswriters have a hard-on for the Irish.
Failed Bridge 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2005 It couldn't possibly be because they're a good team with a Heisman candidate at QB, two recievers with over 10 TDs and just one of the better all around offenses in the league.

This isn't some Dama-esque loving of Oregon, one of my better friends is a starting defensive back, I watch games with his father all the time, and I played with him in high school. Even if they have two losses, they did win their conference. That has got to hold weight no matter how you slice it. Even if a tie is like kissing your sister. therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2005 It all comes back to ratings for who gets to go to the big bowls as an at-large if the bowls aren't forced to pick a certain team. ND is a mega draw and OSU also to a lesser degree, Oregon is not. Hence why the possible PSU-ND Fiesta Bowl is being proposed...

I hate Ohio State, so I'm biased. I'd like them to play each other. by league I meant college football. Ok.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2005 The ref's are deciding a lot of games this season. The Big XII has come out and said that the officials got it right or something on Saturday. Such bullshit. All of those ref's should be fired. They jobbed OU.
