Eclipse Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 I bought a data cable for my phone, Sanyo SCP-200. I can't download ringtones from it, so I bought a data cable from a Sprint store. They sell the cable, but then I JUST REMEMBERED..how is Windows gonna read it? I plugged it in, and it needs a driver and software. I was kinda hoping that someone knew if it's downloadable from somewhere, because I really don't wanna buy the software from a place like Ebay....
Eclipse Posted December 1, 2005 Author Report Posted December 1, 2005 Oh I did, but I can't find it anywhere....only the software for sale..no drivers...
Fökai Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Do you need the software and drivers for the cable, or the cell phone?
Eclipse Posted December 2, 2005 Author Report Posted December 2, 2005 The software and drivers for the cable. I have the cell phone..LOL
Fökai Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 The software and drivers for the cable. I have the cell phone..LOL I meant that as "software and drivers for the cable, or software and drivers for the cell phone?". My bad. According to a few websites advertising that phone data cable, if you buy the software CD for the cable, the drivers are included on that disc. The same websites say that the disc was supposed to come with your data cable, so it's eBay or bust for the CD, I guess.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 I actually found the drivers for my cellphone on Torrentspy, so take that as you will. If you look hard enough for the drivers, you'll find them.
