RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2005 Which could have been easily counter acted with a "You didn't really make him tap, you cheated, you never broke Benoits spirit. Chris Benoit is twice the man you are. You're not the greatest champion ever."

The Niggardly King 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2005 I still think it would have been better if Eddie went over to RAW after the Rumble. Wasn't there some storyline where Chavo and Papa Chavo said that Eddie was a disgrace to the family? I just would have liked it better if it was Eddie instead of Benoit. SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2005 Why did anyone have to go over to RAW? What? And have Eddie and Benoit feud for the WWE Championship? Are you nuts? That's--- ... I really need to stop arguing with you. I'm not sorry the main event at WM20 wasn't HBK vs. HHH, though.

Guest Manus Report post Posted December 7, 2005 Benoit's damn good, but the man? I think not. Benoit isn't a good enough overall performer to be called "the man". Triple H, Flair, Michaels, Angle, Jericho....those are the kind of guys that truly deserve that moniker.
Guest Duke_The_Dog Report post Posted December 8, 2005 Scott keith: Benoit gives verbal agreement to TNA? I've had a couple of people e-mail me this morning, because apparently Dixie Carter promised another earth-shaking surprise for Turning Point, Benoit is down 3-0 in his series with Booker T (whoops, spoiler), and there's rumblings that he's given them a verbal agreement to come in and work a lighter schedule. Now, I'm pretty sure I read a couple of weeks ago that he had re-signed with the E, but I haven't read whether that came from the WON or not. Has Dave said anything firm on Benoit's status? Triple H, Flair, Michaels, Angle, Jericho....those are the kind of guys that truly deserve that moniker. Triple H? Laughable. He wouldn't even belong in a sensible top 5 rating let alone be credited as a headman of the business. Benoit easily makes the list of that moniker, especially over Triple H.
