Failed Bridge 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2007 Best Buy has this for $20. I was looking at it as something to kill time but decided not to pick it up since I hadn't heard much of it. If its all buggy then I'm not gonna bother.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted February 26, 2007 If they improve on it heavily for 2007, I'm all for picking it up. I've never heard of a game that was so buggy before, wherein EVERYONE that owns the game gets some kind of bug.
LaParkaMarka 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2007 Even if it didn't have any bugs, the core gameplay isn't that great. It seems like the meat of the game would be in actually coaching the team on gameday, but the rehashed Madden engine doesn't display things very well and really isn't very fun to watch. Plus, the player progression is too easy (I had Vince Young and Reggie Bush both at 100 within a season...that's just wrong), and "money" plays make playcalling a bit of a joke (no need to gameplan when play action streaks will score a touchdown every other time you call it). The other part I was looking forward to was the draft, but there's nothing there, no buildup or real sense of who the "stars" are in the upcoming draft class. Plus your crappy scout always advises the worst picks. Why would I take a WR, when I already have Moss and Porter? Such a disappointment. Just fixing the bugs and added some desperately needed interface improvements wouldn't be enough to fix that game.
