I read about this at CAG a couple days ago, but didn't post it since some people were unsure of its validity. Toys R Us (starting today) has put the following games on clearance for $10 a piece. Your luck in finding them will vary because some stores were cleaned out when they opened, while others have been reported as having plenty of games. Good luck... Only 4 more hours til I can go.

I've played Winning Eleven 8, and I think it's a step down from 7. The goalies are like Superman, and scoring is all about getting lucky... or using cheap methods like lob shots.

 

That's if you can find 7... I must say I've never seen any WE games in stores.

I've never seen it available online either. I just want a solid soccer game to add to my sports collection but finding one is next to impossible it seems. FIFA had too many bleh moments for me to consider buying it.

I live in HONESTLY, the end of the fucking world it feels like. I have to drive a good hour to get to any type of store that sells games, or decent things..and another hour or two to get anywhere close to a fucking Walmart, or Toysrus, any real good store.

 

Suuuucks.

I just got back. As expected, most games I wanted were sold out, but I managed to snag the following:

 

Doom 3 (Xbox)

Star Ocean w/bonus DVD (PS2)

Unreal Championship 2 (Xbox)

Pariah (Xbox)

 

I plan to trade in Pariah at Gamerush... Since it goes for $40-50 new at most places, I hope to get a decent amount of credit to put toward Animal Crossing: Wild World if my fiancee doesn't get it for me (which she will if it's not out of stock). If she gets me that, I'll use the credit toward a PS2 game, since I now have a grand total of 2, hehe.

 

But hey, I still have yet to even open Burnout Revenge, X-Men Legends Part Deux, and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes from TRU's buy 2 get 1 free sale, so it's not like I needed anymore games.

Pariah goes for $30 now at EB, so you likely won't make a big profit. And it sucks hard, so don't keep it.

GR's pretty generous with their trade in credit. But even if I don't profit much, I'll probably get more than I paid for it.

 

Hell, I traded in Psychonauts (Xbox) with no case a month ago toward my PS2 system, and I got $27 credit for it, when it was going for $30 new everywhere.

I went this morning planning to pick up Batman Begins on PS2 as a gift for a friend. They had some in bins, most notably all I saw were a bunch of Killzone and Bloodrayne 2 though, not the one I was looking for. Decent stuff there, great price, just nothing that jumped out.
