UZI Suicide Posted December 25, 2005 Report Posted December 25, 2005 My CD-RW drive is randomly opening while I have my computer on, then I'll shut it, and the cycle will continue like 4 or 5 more times. It usually happens right when I turn my computer on, but not always. how can I stop this?

If the door continues to re-open, then it's definitely a problem with your CD-RW drive... probably misaligned, or something. Get a new one then if it annoys you. If not that... then, hell if I know. If it's only doing this when starting your computer, it could be because of multiple user names on your computer. But, unlikely.
