UZI Suicide 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2005 My CD-RW drive is randomly opening while I have my computer on, then I'll shut it, and the cycle will continue like 4 or 5 more times. Guest Leelee Report post Posted December 26, 2005 If you're into computer geek shit... try opening your computer case, and unplug the IDE cable. If the door continues to re-open, then it's definitely a problem with your CD-RW drive... probably misaligned, or something. Get a new one then if it annoys you. If not that... then, hell if I know. If it's only doing this when starting your computer, it could be because of multiple user names on your computer. But, unlikely. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
