Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 26, 2005 UCLA should annihilate Northwestern.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2005 Annihilate? NW has a pretty good offense and UCLA's defense isn't exactly a world beater.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 26, 2005 UCLA's offense is even better, though.
Gert T 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2005 If you're looking to make money, I would say Memphis at -5. Williams should have a huge game rushing. Akron's D is ranked 23rd in the defense but has given up at least 35 points to the 4 best teams they play. About the only way I'd want to watch this game.
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2005 I agree. The MAC's just terrible this year, and even a mid-level level C-USA team like Memphis should be superior. I say Memphis 30 Akron
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2005 I wouldn't mind seeing the Packers draft DeAngelo Williams, and I never talk about the draft.

Bored 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2005 Based on the first half Rutgers looks like they are going to get their first bowl win ever. ASU has absolutely no defense at all and if it wasn't for the one fumble recovery they got this game might already be over.
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2005 Jesus. This game is taking for fucking ever. The parts I've caught have been pretty good, though.

Bored 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2005 Based on the first half Rutgers looks like they are going to get their first bowl win ever. ASU has absolutely no defense at all and if it wasn't for the one fumble recovery they got this game might already be over. And of course ASU has dominated the game since I made this post. Their defense didn't look like they could stop an NAIA team in the first half but did just enough for the offense to take over in the second half.

the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2005 (edited) It also didn't help that that Ryan Hart came back down to earth. There is a reason that he is in a QB competition with a guy who has a 2:10 TD/INT ratio. Leonard is a stud, I don't see any reason Rice could not be a top 10 back next year, the TE Harris is solid and Moses shows flashes of brilliance but you can't compete for 60 minutes in a shootout with subpar QB play. And similar to Bored's last post. As I type this Hart throws a strike deep for the TD. Edited December 28, 2005 by the pinjockey

Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2005 I'm really enjoying the matchups already this year. Anyone else?
Guest Leelee Report post Posted December 28, 2005 I've actually hated this year, thus far. I usually enjoy the Motor City Bowl, but Akron in there. Yuck. The MAC really needs to improve their tiebreak system. And the other 2 games I was sort of interested in... GMAC Bowl, and whatever one Navy was in... were boring blowouts. I hope tomorrow's games are better.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2005 I know that Michigan and Nebraska aren't too good this year, but I'm still excited for their bowl game considering that they are Michigan and Nebraska.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2005 The Alamo Bowl apparently has not been kind to the Big XII but it seems to love Nebraska. Hmmm.....Nebraska's offense just isn't good enough to contend with a Big Ten D.
Guest Report post Posted December 28, 2005 There's an obvious reason for that, but we're not debating it, as it's a fact.
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2005 you know, I can't decide whether I like the blue field or hate the blue field...
Guest Leelee Report post Posted December 28, 2005 The blue field is awesome. They should add the Oregon multi-colors to it, also. Also, there should be a field with that gold-like turf. Arizona could handle that.

Bored 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2005 92 yard punt return for Boise pulls them within six with under four minutes to go.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2005 Course then the Boise QB has a brain freeze and throws the game away in the final minute just 11 yards from the endzone. That spike of the ball made NO sense. You have 44 seconds left, you are 11 yards from the end zone and you are trying to score but without allowing BC back into the game. Why DIDN'T they run from the six? They had plenty of time. The play calling inside the ten by State was miserable.
Guest Leelee Report post Posted December 29, 2005 Blah, had Boise picked in my pool too. Oh well, at least it ended up being a fun game.
