PROMO: Cargo Hold

Recommended Posts

Guest Ghost Machine

SWF road agent Chris Belcourt sighed. “I’m getting sick of this crap,” he said aloud to no one in particular. “They always give me the crap jobs. Ah well… at least I didn’t have to travel.”

He stands, tightly holding his authorization pass, at one of the myriad baggage carousels at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. Not too far from the SWF’s home office, he wears an SWF windbreaker in order to make even more explicit the fact that he is here to pick up the SWF’s cargo.

Bored, he watches the carousel circle around and around, until finally… Thump.

The rigid bodybag spits out onto the carousel, bearing an orange-and-black luggage tag.

Belcourt reaches down, grabbing the bag and pulling it off the carousel before removing the packing slip and examining it.

CONTENTS

--- Ghost Machine

----- Version 2.0beta. After the initial failures of Ghost Machine version 1.0, the designers of Ghost Machine have reexamined the platform. Having found numerous bugs, including the infamous Sodomy Bug, and having reprogrammed the bot’s logic entirely, BennerCorp. is confident that Ghost Machine 2.0 will be better able to serve your needs. The new version is sleeker, faster and more efficient.

--- Documentation

--- BugFix software

--- One case of Smithwicks-brand crankcase oil. Oil twice a week, preferably on Friday and Saturday nights, with at least six bottles of crankcase oil. If Smithwicks is unavailable, you may substitute dry martinis or good scotch.

“Oh, brother,” Belcourt sighs. With a heavy heart, he grabs a luggage cart and begins the arduous process of finding a taxi willing to travel with a robot.

So this Ghost Machine and the Ghost Machine in the other...um...promo...are two different Ghost Machines?

Will we be seeing Ghost Machine v1.0 vs. Ghost Machine v2.0 at a future SWF PPV?

Hell no - they should team up, and take the tag division by storm!

They could even have some hilarious backstage segments where Version 2 attempts to upgrade Version 1, and the cameraman walks in just in time to make it look like they're doing something naughty~!

It's gold, I tells ya!
