Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted May 31, 2002 Eh? You mean people actually buy PPV's? Black-box baby! Which of course means when I move in September I won't be seeing any PPV's for a while. Maybe I can get someone to tape them...
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted May 31, 2002 If you want a really good reason to boycott ppv's, how about boycotting because of the price increase? I think WWE takes advantage of the fact that they are the only dog in town and feel they can hold us up for more money. I don't mind spending a little extra for WM but when you raise the price for every single show, that is bullshit. Wrestling is just not worth $35.00 a month of my money because the product has not been worth that amount since WM-X7 with the exception of SS.
Guest Report post Posted June 7, 2002 For those of you with black boxes... resist the temptation to upgrade to digital cable. You will not be able to watch your PPVs. I ALMOST ordered Judgement Day to see Jericho in HIAC but I decided against it when I figured he'd just get squashed anyway.

Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted June 10, 2002 I'm sure the WWF is going to feel the sting of this boycott. The last PPV I ordered was Summerslam, and I ordered Invasion before that. I can't order PPVs because of my current cable setup, but I really don't want to order PPVs. There hasn't been anything that has made me feel compelled to want to see a PPV in recent memory, so I have been boycotting the PPVs since last summer. The shows seem like advertisements for RAW a lot of times, and I fail to see why you would make people pay to see an advertisement for the free TV. It seems like the WWF doesn't know how to create feuds, and the WWF doesn't know how to promote them either.
