PROMO: Running the Gauntlet pt. 2

"A handicap match."

 

For once, Kevin Coyote is addressing a camera directly for the taping of a promo, and not his constant companion - his cell phone.

 

"I get booked into a damn handicap match for Smarkdown, and CC expects me to be excited about this?"

 

Coyote angrily shakes his head, his nostrils flaring.

 

"You know, all I asked for was a gauntlet match, not this crap. I plan to be a force to be reckoned with here in the SWF, but I can't do that if Creative Control can't even take me seriously. It isn't fair!"

 

He spits his next words out with disgust.

 

"Speaking of fair. Let's talk about William Hearford. Oh, I'm sorry. That's William 'Justice' Hearford to you and me. The man has done nothing but hold me back ever since Smark Enough. And now that I've finally made it to the SWF, and I'm here on the big stage, is that enough? Hell no!"

 

Coyote stops to take a breath, regaining his composure and dropping his tone just a bit.

 

"'Justice?' Perhaps we should be calling him... 'Injustice.'"

 

He opens his unbuttoned jean jacket to reveal a new SWF T-shirt, the first of Coyote's design to be released. It reads: "InJustice For All."

 

A beeping sound interrupts Coyote's attention. He pulls the mobile phone out of his pocket, and winks at the camera.

 

"Excuse me. I gotta take this."

What is with the gauntlet thing anyway? I know it worked for me, but its a pain in the ass.
