Caliban Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 Byte This is well worth watching this week, Kennedy is on there for about an hour, and goes into some details of how he got into wrestling, and his influences. Kennedy worked as a pizza delivery boy out of high school, before working as a security guard in a nuclear power plant. It was during the security job (he hated it, living in a "box" as he called it) that he started dreaming of a pro wrestler. When he couldn't get the time to be a pro wrestler doing 13 hour shifts in security, he moved to Green Bay to become a personal trainer, which he was when WWE hired him in March of last year. In between this, Todd gets his nuts bashed in a few times. Kennedy even manages to call out HHH during his appearance, promising that Kennedy will defeat HHH sometime in the future. Ambitious and talented guy. Can't wait until he comes back... up to six months he said, but hopefully before then, eh? KENNEDY!!!
MillenniumMan831 Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 Seems like a pretty decent guy in the bits when he wasn't in character. Very relatable guy as he proudly addressed that he watches box sets of dvds and plays dvds during his recovery time.
Team Angle Pusher Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 Ken Kennedy is awesome, nothing new to me
Epic Reine Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 He said Austin Aries' name on TV. Wow.
MillenniumMan831 Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 Luckily for Kennedy, Grisham has never heard of Aries.
benoit4hor Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 What did he say about Aries? That he's awesome?
Epic Reine Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 He said he was the first person he used his finisher on.
Team Angle Pusher Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 Yeah he "aries" through the sky, catched him, then thought what the heck why not and just did the move and it's now his finisher. He said he also does the Kenton Bomb, which is similar to Jeff Hardy's Swanton Bomb. Good guy, great character, great wrestler
iliketurtles Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Anyone have a review or anything?
