Eclipse Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 I don't have any special firewalls installed on my PC..only the Windows Firewall. I was wondering if there a small program out there, or an option in Windows Firewall that allows me to block access to a website or websites.
Guest Princess Leena Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Download a good firewall. 4 free ones listed in the stickied topic in this forum. http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?showtopic=41117
Eclipse Posted January 14, 2006 Author Report Posted January 14, 2006 LOL..you just reminded me of that thread. Thanks. I will probably install one of those. Hopefully, they aren't HUGE resource hogs...
Eclipse Posted January 14, 2006 Author Report Posted January 14, 2006 Which one of those firewalls in specific can make it easy to block a website? I have no clue how to configure it to block outbound traffic to a certain site (don't know the IP for it), so I was kinda wondering if I can block it by URL.
