Did WWE secretly fire Heidenreich and / or is he injured? I found it odd that Animal was in the BR on SmackDown but not John, and now I see this bizarre Hardy/Animal tag team. Even the WWE.com Power 25 has the line "Is Animal ready to prove himself once again as a singles star?".

Is the return of "High Voltage" (or whatever character Matt played with a buzzcut and facepaint) upon us?

Maybe Heidenreich is still trying to get his home in order.

IIRC, he did live in New Orlens (sp?)

While I agree that attendance won't be strong compared to what they've seen in Japan, I'm more surprised to see Angle booked as a babyface.

There's basically only Undertaker for him to be involved with as a heel at the top of the card, and with Orton and Henry already on that side, it makes sense. Granted, they could elevate Rey or Benoit, but then that kills the midcard. It's sad how SD lost almost all of its talent to injuries, death and a departure in just a few short months.
