Guest Anorak Report post Posted June 3, 2002 Is it really worth having so many films on DVD? Admittedly some films are worth watching every so often, whether it be true classics or lesser movies with a personal significance but i just don't get why anyone would want to own literally hundreds of films, especially some of the shit i've seen on some people's lists. How many times can you honestly watch some films before it all gets a little bit tiresome? Doesn't it get boring sitting through something for the 30th time or do you simply leave them gathering dust, safe in the knowledge your 'unique collections' give you your own personal badges to wear as 'genuine film buffs'? Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted June 3, 2002 I tend to watch films many times because if people come over we pop in a movie and thats that. I usually watch a movie 3 or 4 times on my own.

Guest Report post Posted June 5, 2002 Yeah that's a cool site, does anyone know of one that lets you post your game collections? I'll post my collection when it becomes worth a shit, but if you want to look at it now, here it is. collection that is not as good as C.H.U.D.'s
Guest Report post Posted June 5, 2002 Damn, I'm having a bitch of a time remembering all of my DVD's off hand (I'm at work right now) so I just made a smaller list of about half (or less) of my collection. I'm positive that I have well over 50 by now (I've only had my player for just under a year now), but I will add the rest when I get home tonight. http://www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.html?cat=1&id=mach7
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted June 6, 2002 Although it serves no practical purpose, I'll include my list. Fun site (especially the edit/comments feature, which I want to use more often for mini-reviews), but like I said, has no practical purpose... then again, what on the internet does? Again, my list is at http://www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.html?cat...id=abba_owns_me . It's probably the smallest that's been posted here, but that's because I'm sorta unemployed and DVDs are sorta expensive...

Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted June 7, 2002 Nah, I like Full Moon flicks myself. Puppet Master is one of my all time faves, and I have the complete set on DVD. I've also got a few other titles here at work on DVD (Castle Freak, Vampire Journals, Horrible Dr. Bones, and some others) that I've been meaning to check out. Can you recommend any, 'Flow? And I'll be posting my DVD collection shortly, as I have to go through them all.

Guest Kingpk Report post Posted June 14, 2002 Here's my pitiful "Collection" BTW, how are those MST3K DVDs anyway? Are there any good extras.
Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted June 14, 2002 Usually the main extra is the movie without MST3K commentary. There are a few other minor extras I think.
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted June 14, 2002 Looking through everyone else's colllections, I have realized that I am the only straight male who bought HeartBreakers and thinks it's actually a pretty good movie. All due to the wonderful performances of Gene Hackman and Ray Liotta of course, not because Hewitt is in her skimpiest outfits to date and one of the deleted scenes is of her running on a treadmill in a blue bikini. My collection has become a bit larger since last month, plus I submitted a couple of new titles that weren't listed on the database and updated all the missing coverscans, so now every movie on my list has a pic. http://www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.html?cat...t=1&id=c.h.u.d..
