MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2006 Henry was way too far out for that frogsplash.. and then he squashes Rey. YAY for a crappy Title match at the Royal Rumble.
naiwf 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2006 That was a nice ending sequence there. Mark Henry is actually earning his paycheck for only the second time I can remember, the other was when he was trying to take the WHC from Goldberg.
Downhome 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2006 Mark Henry is making his career with this comeback. In the ten years he has been in WWE, in my opinion, we are seeing his absolute best work. The finish to that match was just fantastic if you ask me. Just watch - he's going to impress Vince and everyone else in WWE, then they will sign him to another contract. If they were ever going to give him a real push, that was the time to do it. And after that match, don't tell me that the fans don't believe Rey can win matches. Guest Arnold_OldSchool Report post Posted January 21, 2006 So is Taker in the Royal Rumble, or is he still AWOL Storyline wise Since he's suddenly going to care about the title in Feb and all.....

Guest Dam(o)nYankees Report post Posted January 21, 2006 Randy really needs to stick with Benoit matches. He's a little better at breaking Randy out of this chinlock (and yes, that was a chinlock, sort of leg scissors or not) habit.
Guest Dam(o)nYankees Report post Posted January 21, 2006 Tazz, Kurt Angle and Randy Orton taking car trips? Why does that sound like something's that's funnier on paper than reality?

RedJed 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2006 Shit, if Jordan could be taken off the main show and forever on Velocity, the Smackdown product could be damn near its best in years. Its been that good lately to me.

Guest Dam(o)nYankees Report post Posted January 21, 2006 They need to start calling Angle "the 6 Time World Champion" It really adds something to feuds, I think. Once you get to about four, I think the number should always be mentioned.

Once you get to about four, I think the number should always be mentioned. WWE only counts WCW championships if its Ric Flair. And Booker T. But he has yet to win either the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship They've never referred to Booker T as a former World Heavyweight Champion. They always say he was the 5-time WCW Champion. With Flair, they don't differentiate between his title runs in NWA, WCW, or WWF.

My only concern is that this could be a case of just catching lightning in a bottle (yes, I know that's an exaggeration but it's the only way I can think of to word it), and after he signs again he could go back to how he was before. He might be motivated right now just to be able to possibly get another contract. I know the booking has a lot to do with it also, but still.
