I'll post in this by myself, if have to.

Tomorrow, 10am EST, Federer vs. Nadal in the Dubai final. Watch it. Even though Roger will probably win easily.

And two big tournies are coming up, Indian Wells and Key Biscayne.

Mauresmo becomes # 1 if she beats Petrova in the Doha final this weekend. She'll get it either way at the end of IW since Clijsters isn't playing and will lose at least 300 points, but it would be nice to see her take it with a victory instead of backdooring it.

Hingis can't seem to win back to back matches against top 10 level talent, so I don't see her getting any higher than maybe # 8 by the end of the year. While that's not bad by any means, I was hoping she'd at least be able to go .500 against the best players and right now she's not even close to that.

I hope Fed cruises, but I have the distinct feeling that my namesake will improve to 3-1 against Roger.

Martina will be #4 in the race, so she's not doing badly.

If she can stay healthy... I don't see her finishing worse than 6th. Lindsay is in lazy mode this year, and will probably play 12-13 tournaments at most. I know Demented got her in Tokyo, but consistency is always going to be a problem for her. And that's about it.

You're picking Rafa to win? I'd like to see him do it... but, the Dubai court doesn't really suit him. It's a quicker hardcourt. And I think Roger is really going to be motivated for this match, and bring his sick game. He's probably not pleased that Rafa has the fluke H2H over him still.

Federer choked as I suspected he might. He made Nadal look like a scrub in the first set and then gagged away the next two. Mauresmo did the same against Petrova (aside from winning a set), so it wasn't a good day for me at all. I'm hoping for better at IW.

How could you suspect Roger would choke? He's the master of winning close matches where everyone gags against him. Nadal proved me wrong... and I'm glad he did. :) He really has Roger's number now. It was shocking once Roger's level dropped from the ridiculously good tennis he played in the first set and a half. Roger lost a lot of confidence... and was afraid to get into rallies with Rafa. I'd say Nadal officially has his number now... if he can beat him on this surface, he can beat Roger on anything, except clay.

It was a gut feeling. I had the same thing the night before he lost to Safin at the AO Semis last year. I think Nadal was in his head before this match, and it's even more distinct now. Federer knows he can beat anyone else at any time as long as he's healthy. The only guys he doubts himself against are Nadal and perhaps Nalbandian. I think you meant to say Rafa can beat Roger on anything but grass, because well he's the clay court king and all. It's a good day to be named Rafael, but a bad day to be a Federer fan.

Lolz. Yes, I meant grass. :P And maybe that evil spuckturf.

I'm a fan of both players. That was an incredible match to watch. I'm just really surprised Nadal got in Roger's head like that. It's not like Nadal is this unbeatable player in those conditions. I watched most of his Marseille matches, where he lost to Sexy Clement, and Nadal's level wasn't much higher for this match. Roger had no belief he could win rallies... very shocking to me. :P And I think that kills any hope Roger can win RG this year.
