Talk about a stacked show.

 

Aside from JD getting the title stripped (2 time stripper, baby!), it was absolutely solid.

 

Annie gets a win, Wilson shakes off the rust as he and Stryke pull off a solid victory (loved the whole Wilson scared of ELM internal storyline), and man oh man, Sacred's big win over Fallout!!  Turned 3/5 falls into absolute beauty, with an incredibly clever finish, and made Fallout look incredibly strong too.

 

I dunno, I'm just in love with that match.  Possibly the best one you've ever written, Muzz.

 

And I retained!  Woo!  I'm not a fluke, I'm not a fluke!

 

Promowise: I knew Thugg was retiring, but he and X still made a great show of it.  It's been amazing working with you, Thugg, and here's hoping to a "quick recovery" someday.  Heh...

The rest of the show looks rather good, some better comments here once i read the thing in full.

A nice, loverly Storm with two great matches way up at the top and a solid undercard.

 

I just wanted to thank Stryke for allowing me to write the whole match so I could try to knock some rust off.  Muy bien.

 

Congrats to Sacred and a simply pheee-nomenal match-up.  Is Fallout a transition champion from Sacred to Sacred then?  I'm confused...

 

Edwin puts on a solid defending champeen match with a clean win over Bo.  Hopefully his fingers are still attached.

 

JD sucks, and congrats to Annie, Ash and Flesher for some good wins of their own.

 

Considering I'm just guessing the ELM and Rotten no-showed my match, is there anyway, other then commentfests, to know that?  Maybe something in the summary at the end?  I know its extra work for markers, but its nice to no if it was a default win or not.  Just a thought.

Man.... I wasn't here wehn other dominating powerhouses retired, and unfortunately I didn't know a lot about GSMS, or really talk to him much.... But Thugg helped me and talked to me as I was coming up and getting bumped... and I always thought I'd have a match against him someday, seeing if I'd ever be as good as the Great Thugg. Guess it isn't meant to be...

 

Thugg: Enjoy the retirement, and let me know if you ever need any shit wrecked. Or Web Graphics. We still have to hook up about that...

Great show - it's all been said before, but I thought the matches from Annie and Sacred were particularly good... not to take away from anything else, of course, because all around, the show was great.

Thugg retires before I even get near catching the bump. I was looking forward to possibly joining Da Pound with him in it if I ever got bumped. But it's cool and hopefully I can bounce some ideas off you now that your in the old mans home. I didn't even get to know ya but your still my niggga.

 

Annie E puts on one of the best written matches I've seen of hers so far. Maybe she's just better at writing faces because that was high quality.

Ketchum beat X, which seems to be a surprise to everyone but I've never seen the man write so I can't say anything. All I know is that Pokemania's 2-0 in the WF.

 

Chris Wilson is da 'ish. He beat Mags and Rotten with Stryke only breifly editing! No ring rust what so ever and I like the writing style.

 

3/5 Match was about as great as it could be. After I saw the way he wrote the first fall I was able to predict the rest. But the funny thing is that didn't ruin any spot in the match because it was so well written. I didn't even attempt to skip a line while reading. Good shit.

 

And Eddie MacPhisto wrote a must markout move in a Dragon Sleeper Russian Leg Sweep. A Dragon Sleeper Russian Leg Sweep?! Is that in your moveset or can I write that into one of my matches sometime. Good job beating a great write like BO.

Heh.  Glad you liked it.  I just recently added it into my moveset, because dragon sleepers are neat-o, but only as a pretty rare move.  You have full permission to use it any time you like.  Then one day, when you get bumped, we can have a duel with them.  And you can credit the original idea to that to Tod deKindes, who kept saying "Drop people on their head!  Use brainbusters!  Use tombstone piledrives!  Use...uh...uhh... a dragon sleeper legsweep!  Yeah!"  I said, "my god, Tod, that's the first reasonable thing you've said.  Now get back to drooling, and I'll get back to writing."  Mwa ha ha.

Wow, I had the ICTV Title for five whole days.  Sacred had to beat me sooner or later.  I guess it's my turn to lose five matches.  Shortest ICTV reign in history!  (tied with Chris Storm)  If that ain't something to be proud of, then I don't know what is.

 

HVT retires.  I knew this was going to happen soon, but it's still a sad day.  Another dominant World Champion is gone.
