Boner Kawanger 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2006 I don't know what that smiley face is supposed to mean...Y2Jerk...but I'm going to assume it means that you want to know more. Superman: Brainiac Attacks is a Direct to DVD movie produced by Bruce Timm and the people behind JLU. It features the voice cast of Superman: The Animated Series, including the return of Tim Daly as the voice of Superman. It's probably the last project for the old DCAU (B:TAS-JLU). I'm guessing the Supergirl DVD is just a reprint of the old disc. Studios triumph these "re-releases" alot. Or wait, am I crazy, or did Anchor Bay release Supergirl on DVD the first time? And I've heard good things about Superboy.
ZGangsta 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2006 And I've heard bad things about Superboy. But it's been in limbo for so long it's hard to tell. I think they're releasing some insane like 14 disc set of all the movies (Superman 1 - Returns) that's going to have some awesome stuf on it. I also read that Bryan Singer has been executive producing a documentary on the history of the character that will come out this year. The part of all this that excites me the most (besides Superman Returns) is the Richard Donner version of Superman 2.

That's what I was wondering. Thanks. "Brainiac Attacks" sounds like it might involve the Justice League, given the Brainiac storyline on JLU. Hopefully, though, there'll also be a JLU straight-to-video movie, or a Legion of the Super-Heroes DCAU series after JLU goes off of the air.

CBright7831 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2006 I really wish they would get someone besides Lex Luthor for the movies. Fuck the computer and Nuclear Man. Give me Brainiac! Give me Doomsday! Give me Darkseid! Anyone besides Luthor or a character made up for the movie.
Vyce 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2006 I scoff at Y2Jerk. Do you know how long I've been waiting for Superboy to be put out on DVD? Since before DVD even existed, son. That's how fucking long.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 Krypto the Superdog Huh? This show: http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/tv_shows/krypto/ The main thing I remember about Superboy is a fat Metallo who was just a guy with a hole in his chest for green K, and a sometimes-good comic book spinoff. Super"boy" was like in his damn 20's though.

That's pretty long. In fairness, I had a crush on Stacy Haiduk. Not a big enough crush to make me want to watch SeaQuest, but a crush nonetheless.
