Guest The Satanic Angel Report post Posted March 17, 2006 I have virus software, spyware, all that ... and whenever I run a full scan, this file always hangs it up (C:WINDOWS/system32/dbgeng.dll). So I went into My Computer to find the file. I was going to copy it and then delete it from the system folder and try to run a scan again. Simply clicking on this file caused my laptop to hang up again. Is this file necessary for my system to run? If not, any suggestions on how to get rid of it? Guest The Satanic Angel Report post Posted March 17, 2006 And is the DrWatson Postmortem Debugger a legit program for Windows XP? I was running a game and memory ran too low ... ended up losing the game and then this DrWatson program hogged system memory for about ten minutes ... kept getting program errors and storage medium warnings ... do I have a virus?
